University of Latvia is currently preparing the project to be submitted
under call CERV-GE-2026 priority No.2 'Promoting and supporting the
implementation of the provisions of the Pay Transparency Directive and
respect of equal pay for equal work and work of equal value'.
In this project proposal University of Latvia along with Latvian social
partners (Ministry of Welfare, Trade Unions' Confederation, Confederation
of Employers and State Labour Inspectorate) is planning to develop
digital tool for employers and employees in relation to reporting and
self-check as to compliance with equal pay obligations. According to
available information in Estonia there is already digital tool Pay Mirror
available. Taking into account your national experience in elaboration of
respective digital tool University of Latvia would appreciate to work in
the partnership with your institutions in respect to transfer of
knowledge in elaboration of national tools for Latvia. Proposed
collaboration would involve the consultation with colleagues from Estonian institutions regarding the content and development of Estonian
national tool.
In addition, in this project the University of Latvia with partners are
planning to prepare the handbook - comments to the implementing law of
pay Transparency Directives, webinars for employers and training for the
inspectors of State Labour Inspectorate.
The project proposal will be prepared by University of Latvia, thus no
substantial in-put from Estonian colleagues is expected.
The University of Latvia would appreciate having Estonian institutions
either as associated partners or partners (in order being able to pay for
the consultations).
As regard the administrative matters, you will be contacted by my
colleagues Kaspars Kozlovskis.
As the date of submission is approaching, we would appreciate prompt
