Dear Member of the Frontex Management Board,

Following the invitation to the Annual European Coast Guard Event (AECGE) 2026, we are pleased to provide additional practical information concerning the event arrangements.

Please find attached to this email the draft agenda of the event. The following key elements of the programme may already be noted:

The icebreaker cocktail will take place on Monday, 8 June 2026, at Jardim José do Canto, Rua José do Canto, 99500-076 Ponta Delgada from 19:30 to 22:00.
The Annual European Coast Guard Event will be held at Teatro Micaelense, Rua de São João s/n, 9500-106 Ponta Delgada, on Tuesday, 9 June, and Wednesday, 10 June 2026, in accordance with the attached draft agenda.
The Greening Award Initiative ceremony, followed by the official dinner, will take place on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, at Terra Nostra Hotel, Rua Padre José Jacinto Botelho, 5, 9675-061 Furnas , from 19:00 to 22:30. EMSA will provide organised transport to and from the venue of the gala dinner.

Please be reminded that the AECGE will be held in person only, and that online participation will not be foreseen. No special rates for hotels are available. However, please consider booking at walking distance from the Event venue. A list of recommended hotels is attached to the agenda.

We would also kindly recall that the designated participants are invited to complete their online registration by 20 May at the latest, at the following link: EMSA Events Registration Homepage
