ISRAELI LEGISLATION SEEKS TO ANNUL OSLO ACCORDS AND OTHER AGREEMENTS
An Israeli proposed bill to scrap the Oslo Interim Accords submitted by members of the far-right “Otzma
Yehudit/ Jewish Power” party, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, had been scheduled for discussion before the
Israeli Knesset’s Ministerial Committee for Legislation earlier Sunday before Netanyahu reportedly
requested a delay. The bill seeks to abolish the Oslo Accords, the Hebron Protocol, and the Wye River
Memorandum. According to the draft bill, all agreements signed between Israel, the Palestine Liberation
Organization (PLO), and the Palestinian National Authority would be "fully abolished and will no longer
be binding to the state (of Israel) or any entity acting on its behalf." The proposal also includes repealing
legislation enacted to implement the Oslo framework and for restoring the legal and administrative status
that existed prior to singing them.
DAY 213 SINCE THE CEASEFIRE DEAL: ISRAEL HAS KILLED 854 PALESTINIANS IN GAZA,
BRINGING THE TOTAL TO 72,740 PALESTINIANS KILLED SINCE THE GENOCIDE BEGAN
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued attacks and shelling across Gaza, resulting in further
civilian casualties and damage to makeshift shelters and displacement sites. UNRWA warned of
worsening disease outbreaks and severe shortages that are increasingly hampering aid operations.
Early Tuesday, an Israeli drone strike on northern Gaza City killed a Palestinian man and injured others.
The following day, Khaled Joudah and Mohammed Al-Attar succumbed to injuries sustained in earlier
IOF airstrikes in northern Gaza and Gaza City. An Israeli strike on western Gaza City has also killed
three more Palestinians and injured several others. On Friday, an Israeli airstrike struck a house in the
Al-Shati refugee camp, injuring nine Palestinians, including a child, and completely destroying the
building. Nearby homes also sustained damage, while fires broke out in surrounding areas. MSF warned
that Israel’s sustained blockade and deliberate restrictions on aid have created a severe malnutrition
crisis in Gaza manufactured by Israel, increasing premature births, miscarriages, and malnutrition
among children. Medical sources in Gaza reported that thalassemia patients face life-threatening
conditions due to shortages of medicine and blood, as well as the destruction of health services. At the
same time, reports reveal a severe and worsening bread shortages and soaring flour prices across
starved Gaza, forcing displaced Palestinians to wait in long queues outside the remaining bakeries
supported by the WFP. Meanwhile, UNRWA and WHO warn of rapidly deteriorating public health
conditions, including heightened risks of further disease outbreaks amid overcrowding and poor
sanitation, with reports indicating that rats have bitten children living in makeshift shelters.

THE ILLEGAL "E1" COLONIAL PLAN AND ACTION CALLS BY FORMER EU OFFICIALS
Over 440 former European ministers, ambassadors, and senior officials jointly urged the European
Union and its member States to take immediate action in response to Israeli plans to expand settlement
activity in the "E1" colonial plan on the eastern gateway to occupied Jerusalem. According to their
statement, the Israeli government intends to publish tenders on 1 June 2026, for the construction of
3,401 housing units, designed to accommodate approximately 15,000 illegal settlers, as part of a
broader settlement expansion project. The signatories asserted that the "E1" plan would further divide
the West Bank, separate occupied Jerusalem from the remaining West Bank, and affect the territorial
contiguity of the State of Palestine. The statement also highlighted ongoing concerns regarding settler
terror attacks, land confiscation, forced displacement, and settlement expansion in occupied Palestine.
ONGOING ISRAELI BRUTALITY, SETTLER TERRORISM, AND SYSTEMATIC DISCRIMINATION
Israeli occupation military’s chief Avi Bluth, head of the IOF’s Central Command in the occupied West
Bank, said bluntly during a closed military forum that the IOF was “killing like we haven’t since 1967” in
the West Bank, insisting that such acts amounted to “terrorism”. His remarks, which were leaked
to Israel’s Haaretz newspaper, reveal an alarming escalation in the use of lethal force against
Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, alongside explicit acknowledgment of discriminatory
enforcement practices. Bluth noted that 42 Palestinians were shot on West Bank roads in 2025, while
incidents involving armed or terror attacks by settlers were handled differently. He acknowledged that
crimes committed by Israeli settlers are not met with equivalent force applied against Palestinians,
openly describing this disparity as discriminatory. He also underscored the discrimination against
Palestinians, where they are subjected to military law in the West Bank and extended detention without
trial, while Israelis are judged by civilian courts. In earlier remarks, Bluth had also warned of escalating
“Jewish terror” carried out by extremist settler militias. He was quoted as saying: “These people don’t
see Arabs as human beings and think it’s possible to burn people alive, to burn houses down with their
occupants inside, and unfortunately, they do this frequently.”
GAZA’S MOTHERS UNDER WEIGHT OF WAR, DISPLACEMENT, AND COLLAPSED HEALTHCARE
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza continues to exact a devastating toll on Palestinian mothers.
Beyond the thousands of women killed since October 2023, many more are enduring severe physical
and psychological suffering amid the destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system and worsening
humanitarian conditions. Women in Gaza increasingly face life-threatening health risks, particularly
pregnant women, mothers of young children, and patients with chronic illnesses such as cancer.
Maternal mortality rates tripled during the genocide, while Israel’s manufactured famine and malnutrition
have had a particular impact on pregnant and breastfeeding women. At the same time, the destruction
of hospitals—including Gaza’s only specialized cancer hospital—has critically undermined access to
diagnosis, treatment, and lifesaving care.
ISRAEL'S CONTINUED AGGRESSION AGAINST THE NORTHERN WEST BANK
The occupation's aggression has persisted for 476 days against Jenin and its refugee camp, 470 days
against Tulkarem and its refugee camp, and 450 days against Nour Shams refugee camp. IOF issued
new seizure notices targeting seven dunums of Palestinians land in Al-Jabriyat area in Jenin, while
Israeli occupation bulldozers razed more land for a new road between Anin and Al-Silah Al-Harithiya.

According to the April 2026 report issued by PLO’s Negotiations Affairs Department, the IOF continued
to conduct extensive military and security operations across occupied Palestine during April 2026. The
report documented 1,580 raids into Palestinian cities, towns, refugee camps, and residential
neighborhoods in the West Bank, involving arrests, live fire, stun grenades, and tear gas. Numerous
Palestinians, including children, were killed or injured during these military incursions. The report also
noted over 530 terror attacks conducted by Israeli settlers and a high number of arrests and temporary
detentions, along with the expansion of military checkpoints and movement restrictions that impacted
civilians’ access to workplaces, healthcare, education, and religious sites. The CWRC recorded 1,637
attacks in April 2026, including 1,097 by the IOF and 540 by Israeli settlers. These attacks concentrated
mainly in Nablus, Hebron, Ramallah, Al-Bireh, and Bethlehem. Reported violations included assaults on
civilians, destruction of property and agricultural land, uprooting of 4,414 olive trees, demolition of 78
Palestinian structures, seizure of Palestinian land, and attempts to establish 21 new settlements
outposts, along with planned additional settlement units in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.
Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa launched the “Shamsi Palestine” program to finance solar energy
projects for local government units, with a total value of $25 million, in a step aimed at advancing the
transition toward renewable energy and strengthening the sustainability of public services. The Prime
Minister also discussed with the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions mechanisms for
expanding employment and vocational training programs, and directed the unification of efforts to
document crimes committed by the IOF and settler terrorism based on facts on the ground, figures, and
visual evidence in line with internationally recognized standards. He further directed strengthening
programs aimed at attracting international solidarity delegations, noting that the EU, in coordination with
the Government, will soon launch a program to support victims of settler terrorism. Meanwhile, economic
crises in Palestine continue to deepen as a result of the Israel’s ongoing withholding of Palestinian tax
revenues, which constitute approximately 68% of public income. The total amount of Palestinian funds
withheld by the Israeli occupation has exceeded $5 billion, severely impacting the Government’s ability
to meet its financial obligations. Public sector salaries continue to be disbursed partially and at reduced
rates, while employee dues have accumulated over periods ranging from 10 to 16 months, in addition
to mounting arrears owed to banks, suppliers, and other private sector entities. In a further indication of
the worsening fiscal crisis, all health sector unions announced escalatory measures and a sharp
reduction in working hours, posing a serious threat to the lives of thousands of patients and outpatients
at public hospitals. Administrative staff unions in the judiciary have also announced extensive work hour
reductions, along with a sharp reduction in teachers’ hours at public schools, threatening the right to
education of more than 600,000 students. Meanwhile, the supply of medicines and medical equipment,
and other essential materials supplied by many private sector companies to public institutions have
suspended, underscoring the severity of the crisis caused by the continued Israeli withholding of
Palestinian funds. This reflects systematic Israeli efforts to undermine the institutions of the State of
Palestine and weaken their ability to fulfill basic responsibilities. The situation therefore requires urgent
and effective international intervention to pressure Israel to immediately release the withheld Palestinian
funds and resume their transfer without delay.
