DAY 227 SINCE THE CEASEFIRE DEAL: ISRAEL HAS KILLED 890 PALESTINIANS IN GAZA,
BRINGING THE TOTAL TO 72,783 PALESTINIANS KILLED SINCE THE GENOCIDE BEGAN
Israeli occupation strikes across Gaza continue to inflict more civilian casualties and damage
essential infrastructure, according to UNRWA. On Monday, an Israeli airstrike near the Bani
Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis killed one Palestinian and injured another. The following
day, another Israeli airstrike struck a civilian vehicle near Palestine Tower on Ash-Shuhada Street
west of Gaza City, killing another Palestinian. On Thursday evening, an Israeli quadcopter drone
opened fire on civilians in the Al-Mahatta area east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza, killing 26-
year-old Fatima Al-Zahraa Ramzi Al-Ma'ani. The same day, Israeli gunfire and drone strikes
across Gaza, including in Rafah, Khan Younis, and Beit Lahia, killed four more Palestinians, and
wounded several others, while another Palestinian was injured in Jabalia. On Friday, another
Israeli drone strike near Rafah killed 42-year-old Palestinian sheep herder Rafat Adel Ibrahim
Breika. Meanwhile, UNICEF says that Gaza’s health system is nearing collapse amid severe
shortages of medical supplies, electricity, and medical personnel, while hospitals struggle to care
for premature and vulnerable newborns. According to UNOCHA and the World Health
Organization, Gaza’s health system remains under extreme pressure due to ongoing attacks,
shortages of medicines and fuel, and restrictions preventing patients from accessing treatment.
At the same time, Human Rights Watch said that Israeli is curbing aid and killing civilians during
ceasefire, underscoring that Gaza’s humanitarian infrastructure remains in peril, with aid
restrictions and shortages severely undermining hospitals and basic services.
GLOBAL SUMUD FLOTILLA ACTIVISTS REPORT ABUSE AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE AFTER
ISRAELI INTERCEPTION
The "Global Sumud Flotilla," which was attempting to reach the Gaza Strip on a noble
humanitarian mission to break the siege imposed on the Strip, was subjected to abuse by the
Israeli occupation forces (IOF), following Israeli interception. According to testimonies cited by
CNN, several activists reported physical assaults, degrading treatment, and sexual violence while
in Israeli custody. In addition, Israel’s ‘National Security’ Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir appeared in a
video taunting detained activists at Ashdod port, where they were held in a makeshift detention
facility surrounded by barbed wire and shipping containers. Detainees were shown restrained and
forced to kneel as the Israeli national anthem played, with Ben-Gvir overseeing their detention
while publicly boasting about the humiliation and mistreatment. Flotilla organizers also reported
widespread abuse, including multiple cases of sexual violence, beatings, forced strip searches,
and physical mistreatment, with some detainees telling Reuters they were “stripped, thrown to the
ground, kicked," subjected to taser use, and denied legal access. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and Expatriates condemned the treatment of the activists, stating that the degrading and

inhumane treatment of detainees reflects the official policy of the Israeli occupation, stressing that
it has lost any connection to law, ethics, and human dignity.
ISRAELI SEIZURE OF UNRWA HEADQUARTERS IN OCCUPIED JERUSALEM The Israeli occupation authorities have approved plans to convert the UNRWA headquarters in
Sheikh Jarrah, in occupied East Jerusalem, into Israeli military and security facilities, including an
army museum and offices linked to the Israeli Ministry of Defense. The Palestinian Cabinet and
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the move, warning that converting UN
premises into military facilities is as a flagrant violation of international law and an attack on the
work, immunity, and presence of the United Nations and its institutions in the occupied Palestine,
and a precedent threatening the framework of international law.
SETTLEMENT EXPANSION AND RESTRICTIONS ON PALESTINIAN CONSTRUCTION Recent reporting indicates a continued tightening of Israeli planning and land-registration policies
affecting the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem. According to Haaretz,
only 7% of housing approvals in occupied Jerusalem during 2025 were granted to Palestinian
citizens, despite Palestinians constituting about 40% of the city’s population. Palestinians
continue to face increasing obstacles in obtaining building permits, including stricter requirements
for land ownership and inheritance, leading to fewer permits and the demolition of thousands of
homes. Land registration in Jerusalem has also resulted in large areas being registered under
Israeli state bodies, the Jewish National Fund, or settler organizations. Meanwhile, the so-called
Israeli ‘Yesha Council’ (an umbrella organization of Israeli settlements in the West Bank)has
launched a campaign to recruit settler families to help establish new settlement installations
(outposts) aiming to construct 18 new settlements across the northern West Bank, with support
from the Israeli Ministry of Settlements.
ISRAEL’S SYSTEMATIC TARGETING OF HUMAN RIGHTS DOCUMENTATION
A report by Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor highlights an escalating campaign targeting
independent human rights organizations and journalists documenting abuses against
Palestinians, particularly in Gaza and military detention centers. The report states that groups like
Euro-Med face systematic efforts aimed at discrediting their findings and hinder their work,
including smear campaigns and intimidation tactics that undermine their credibility rather than
engaging with the evidence.
NEW WAVE OF SCABIES SKIN DISEASE SWEEPS PALESTINIAN POLITICAL PRISONERS’
CELLS IN ISRAELI OCCUPATION PRISONS
The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society reported a dangerous, rapidly spreading outbreak of scabies
in several Israeli prisons, including "Ofer", "Megiddo", "Naqab", and "Janot" prisons, based on
lawyer visits conducted during April and May 2026. According to the organization, overcrowded
prison cells, inadequate hygiene conditions, limited ventilation, and restricted access to medical
treatment have contributed to the sweeping spread of the disease among detainees.
ISRAEL'S CONTINUED AGGRESSION AGAINST THE NORTHERN WEST BANK
The occupation's aggression has persisted for 490 days against Jenin and its refugee camp, 484
days against Tulkarem and its refugee camp, and 464 days against Nour Shams refugee camp.

According to a new publication by the Negotiations Affairs Department, settler-led terrorism in the
occupied West Bank has evolved into a structured system of territorial expansion and forced
displacement, closely integrated with Israeli occupation apparatuses. This institutionalized
framework is driven by multi-layered power centers, including the Israeli occupation forces (IOF),
specific Israeli government ministries, and settler organizations, which systematically allocate
budgets and use legal tools to formalize colonial installations (outposts), including colonial farm
installations. Between 2023 and 2025, Israeli colonial farm installations expanded to control
approximately 793,909 dunums (around 14% of the West Bank), with over 95% of these operations
concentrated in the Oslo-defined "Area C." This expansion relies on targeted mechanisms, such as
classifying vast areas as closed military firing zones and unilaterally seizing environmental nature
reserves to restrict Palestinian access. The takeover of Palestinian land is accompanied by
documented acts of terrorism, including cutting water pipelines, sabotaging irrigation pumps, burning
thousands of olive trees, and coordinated physical assaults on farmers and media personnel.
Despite thousands of reported acts of terrorism, approximately 93.8% of Israeli occupation police
investigations into settler conduct were closed without indictment, effectively reinforcing a dual legal
regime and facilitating the demographic alteration of land belonging to the State of Palestine.
The Palestinian Government announced the disbursement of 50% of public sector employees’
salaries for the month of February, amid a worsening financial crisis affecting vital sectors, including
healthcare, education, and security. The crisis stems from the continued withholding by the Israeli
government of Palestinian clearance revenues, which account for approximately 68% of the total
revenues of the Palestinian Ministry of Finance, in violation of international law and signed
agreements. In this context, the Palestinian Ministry of Health warned in a detailed statement of a
serious deterioration in medical stock levels, highlighting severe shortages in hundreds of medicines
and medical supplies, particularly life-saving medications, cancer treatment drugs, and dialysis
medicines. The Ministry stressed that these shortages pose a direct threat to the continuity of
healthcare services and the ability of government hospitals and medical centers to meet patients’
needs. Meanwhile, as part of ongoing efforts to implement the Palestinian Government’s reform
agenda and strengthen institutional governance, the Cabinet approved — based on a
recommendation from the Ministry of Women’s Affairs and the Ministerial Reform Committee — a
review of the mandates and responsibilities assigned to gender units within government institutions.
The measure aims to strengthen and activate their role in integrating gender-related issues into
government plans, policies, and programmes, in line with broader institutional reform and
development priorities.
