Re: Workshop on WIPO Standard ST.96 _________________________________

The International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is pleased to invite representatives from your Office or Organization to attend the Workshop on WIPO Standard ST.96.

The main objective of this Workshop is for intellectual property (IP) offices to exchange their implementation experiences of WIPO Standard ST.96 with the aim to support each other and improve the Standard. It is also hoped that this will assist the International Bureau in understanding how WIPO Standard ST.96 is implemented and whether AI tools have an application in generating structured IP data. This Workshop targets Offices which are currently implementing WIPO Standard ST.96 or intend to.

The Workshop will be held online, on June 24, 2026, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. (CEST). Online invitations will only be sent to registered participants one week before the Workshop. The working language for this event will be English.

Asunto: Taller sobre la Norma ST.96 de la OMPI _______________________________________

De mi consideración:

La Oficina Internacional de la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI) se complace en invitar a representantes de su Oficina u Organización a asistir al Taller sobre la Norma ST.96 de la OMPI.

El principal objetivo de este taller es que las oficinas de propiedad intelectual (PI) intercambien sus experiencias de aplicación de la Norma ST.96 de la OMPI con el fin de apoyarse mutuamente y mejorar la Norma. También se espera que esto sirva para que la Oficina Internacional comprenda cómo se aplica la Norma ST.96 de la OMPI y si las herramientas de IA tienen aplicación en la generación de datos estructurados de PI. Este taller está dirigido a las Oficinas que están aplicando actualmente la Norma ST.96 de la OMPI o tienen intención de hacerlo.

El taller se celebrará en línea, el 24 de junio de 2026, de 12.00 a 15.00 horas (hora de Ginebra). Las invitaciones en línea sólo se enviarán a los participantes inscritos una semana antes del taller. El idioma de trabajo será el inglés.

Objet : Atelier sur la norme ST.96 de l OMPI ___________________________________

Madame, Monsieur,

Le Bureau international de l Organisation Mondiale de la Propriété Intellectuelle (OMPI) a le plaisir d inviter des représentants de votre office ou organisation à participer à l atelier sur la norme ST.96 de l OMPI.

L objectif principal de cet atelier est de permettre aux offices de propriété intellectuelle d échanger leurs expériences en matière d application de la norme ST.96 de l OMPI, afin de s entraider et d améliorer la norme. Nous espérons également que cela aidera le Bureau international à comprendre comment la norme d intelligence artificielle peuvent être utilisés pour générer des données de propriété intellectuelle structurées. Cet atelier s adresse aux offices qui appliquent la norme ST.96 de l OMPI ou ont l intention de le faire.

L atelier se déroulera le 24 juin 2026, de 12 h 00 à 15 h 00 (heure d été d Europe centrale). Les invitations en ligne seront envoyées aux personnes inscrites une semaine avant la tenue de l atelier. La langue de travail de la réunion sera l anglais.
