First of all, I would like to express my heartfelt greetings to you and your esteemed colleagues.
This year, the Constitutional Court of Georgia is honored to announce the celebration of the 30th anniversary of its establishment - a significant milestone in the development of constitutional justice in Georgia.
To mark this important occasion, an International Conference on "The Role of Constitutional Review in the Rule of Law State" will be held on November 5–6, 2026 in Batumi, with the participation of Presidents and Judges of Constitutional Courts and equivalent institutions from various countries, representatives of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the Government of Georgia, members of the academic community and other distinguished guests. The Conference will focus on two main thematic sessions: "Constitutional Order and Fundamental Human Rights" and "The Historical Development of Constitutional Review".
In this regard, we have the distinct honor to invite You and one representative of your esteemed Court to attend the ceremonial event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Georgia.
The working languages of the International Conference will be Georgian, English and Russian with simultaneous translation.
The participants are expected to arrive in Batumi on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 and depart on Friday, November 6, 2026. The accommodation expenses for 2 (two) nights, transfer (from/to Batumi or Kutaisi international airports), local transportation and meals will be covered by the Constitutional Court of Georgia. International travel expenses shall be borne by the invited delegations.
