organized by Taiwan’s International Healthcare Training Center (TIHTC), operating

under the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Sinee its establishment in 2002, TIHTC has empowered more than 2,3 00 professionais

from 84 countries around the world through advanced rnedical and healthcare training

prograrns. These continuing education initiatives are essential for healthcare

professionais seeking to deepen clinical expertise and strengthen giobal capacity against

emerging giobal health challenges.

Taiwan is widely recognized for its advanced healthcare system and medical expertise.

In commitrnent to supporting the international community, TIHTC is offering 3 training

programs this year, including “Proj ect Training,” “Clinical Training,” and “Customized

Project Training.” The lecture tuition fees will be subsidized by TIHTC, while airfare,

accomrnodation, visa application fees, and living expenses shall be borne by the

participants themselves.

TIHTC INTRODUCTION Taiwan International Healthcare Training Center (TIHTC) was estabhshed in 2002 by the Ministry of Health

and Welfare (MQHW), and has been administered by Taipel Hospital, MOHW since its inception.

TIHTC integrates the top medical teams and resources in Taiwan and provides continuing professional development training for healthcare professionais around the world. In the past 24 years, TIHTC has successfully trained over 2,300 healthcare professionals from 84 countries who are seeking to deepen clinical skiIIs, and built

capacity in preparation for emerging health challenges.

TRANING OVERVIEW This training 15 co-organized by Taiwan Society for Burn Injuries and Wound Healing

Effective burn care requires multidisciplinary coordination, speciahzed clinical protocols, and long-term rehabilitation planning. This project training introduces comprehensive burn injuries management, from acute

care to recovery and system-level organization.

Drawing on Taiwan’s clinical experience, the program covers burn prevention strategies, acute burn treatment,

wound care principles, infection control, and rehabilitation planning. Participants wifl also explore how burn

care services are ntegrated within broader emergency and trauma systems.
