Dear Ministers, On behalf of the Baltic Assembly, we would like to express the assurances of our highest consideration to the Baltic Council of Ministers. Following constructive discussions between the Baltic Assembly and the Baltic Council of Ministers in 2026, it has been agreed that, from now on, the questions about the implementation of the recommendations of the Baltic Assembly will be forwarded directly to the respective ministries according to their topical relevance and areas of competence. This approach aims to ensure that the requests are addressed to the most appropriate governmental bodies in a timely and efficient manner. This new method of cooperation reflects our shared commitment to strengthening communication and improving the exchange of information between parliamentarians and government representatives. The Baltic Assembly hopes that this more targeted and practical approach will contribute to more effective cooperation, facilitate substantive responses, and further enhance institutional dialogue. We strongly believe that closer cooperation between the legislative and executive branches in the Baltic States is crucial for effectively representing our shared interests. We value the cooperation we have had thus far and look forward to deepening and strengthening it in the years ahead. We believe that Baltic cooperation must be a continuous effort, requiring close and regular interaction between the legislative and executive branches. Having said that, the Baltic Assembly has numerous questions which require answers from the ministries regarding the cooperation of the Baltic States and the implementation of the recommendations of the Baltic Assembly. We would appreciate receiving clear and precise answers to these questions by 10 August 2026. Annexe: Questions posed by the Baltic Assembly Please accept the assurances of our highest consideration.
