The World Health Organization (WHO) presents its compliments to Member States and Associate Members and has the honour to inform them that internationally comparable estimates for pregnancies, abortions, and pregnancy intentions will be published in early 2027.

Following WHO’s quality standards for data publication and prior to the official release of the above estimates, WHO is consulting with its Member States to review information gathered from primary data sources, ensure the inclusion of additional data sources that may not have been previously identified, and review the individual country estimates derived from the statistical model applied to national country data. The process and development of internationally comparable estimates benefit greatly from these interactions with Member States.

We would also like to inform Member States that internationally comparable estimates related to abortion safety are planned for publication in 2027.

The consultation will be conducted via the WHO Country Consultation Portal with designated focal point(s).

Member States are requested to designate a focal point(s) for the pregnancies, abortions, and pregnancy intentions estimates. Designation of the focal point(s), together with contact details (full name, title, affiliation and email address) should be sent as soon as possible before the opening of the consultation to [email protected]. Focal point(s) will receive instructions via email on how to access the WHO Country Consultation Portal.

It is expected that the WHO Country Consultation Portal will open from 22 June 2026 and close eight weeks thereafter. Any submission after this date may not be considered in the final publication of country estimates.

世界卫生组织（世卫组织）向各会员国和准会员致意并谨告知，将于 2027 年初发布

关于妊娠、流产和妊娠意愿的国际比较估计数据。

按照世卫组织数据发表质量标准，在正式发表上述估计数据之前，世卫组织正与会

员国协商，审查通过原始数据源获得的信息，确保纳入以前可能未发现的补充数据源，

并审查根据统计模型测算的每个国家的估计数据。国际比较估计数据汇集工作和程序极

为依靠与各会员国的互动。

我们还谨告知各会员国，我们计划于 2027 年发布关于流产安全问题的国际比较估计

数据。

将通过世卫组织国家协商门户网站与所指定的对口联络员进行协商。

请会员国指定负责妊娠、流产和妊娠意愿估计数据事宜的一名或多名对口联络员。

应在协商开始前尽快指定联络员并将其联系方式（全名、头衔、隶属单位和电子邮件地

址）发至 [email protected] 。联络员将收到关于如何进入世卫组织国家协商门户网站

的电子邮件。

预计世卫组织国家协商门户网站将于 2026 年 6 月 22 日开放，并在八周后关闭。在此

之后提交的信息可能不会体现在最终发布的国家估计数据中。

L’Organisation mondiale de la Santé (OMS) présente ses compliments aux États Membres

et aux Membres associés et a l’honneur de les informer que des estimations comparables au

niveau international concernant les grossesses, les avortements et les intentions de grossesse

seront publiées début 2027.

Conformément aux normes de l’OMS applicables à la qualité des données destinées à être

publiées, et avant la publication officielle des estimations susmentionnées, l’OMS consulte ses

États Membres et leur demande d’examiner les estimations les concernant provenant de sources

de données primaires, de répertorier des sources de données primaires qui n’auraient pas été

précédemment recensées et de passer en revue les estimations nationales issues du modèle

statistique appliqué aux données nationales du pays. Ces interactions avec les États Membres

sont très utiles pour le traitement et la mise au point d’estimations comparables sur le plan

international.

Nous informons également les États Membres qu’il est prévu de publier en 2027 des

estimations comparables au niveau international concernant la sécurité des avortements.

La consultation se fera par l’intermédiaire du portail de consultation des pays mis en place

par l’OMS auquel accéderont les personnes désignées comme référents.

Les États Membres sont priés de désigner un ou plusieurs référents pour les estimations

des grossesses, des avortements et des intentions de grossesses. Le nom et les coordonnées de

ces personnes (nom complet, fonction, affiliation et adresse électronique) doivent être

communiqués dès que possible avant l’ouverture de la consultation par courrier électronique

adressé à [email protected]. Les référents recevront par courriel des instructions sur la

procédure à suivre pour accéder au portail de consultation des pays.

Le portail de consultation des pays devrait ouvrir à compter du 22 juin 2026 et fermer

huit semaines plus tard. Aucune communication après cette date ne sera prise en compte dans la

publication finale des estimations concernant les pays.

L’Organisation mondiale de la Santé saisit cette occasion pour renouveler aux États Membres

et aux Membres associés les assurances de sa très haute considération.

Всемирная организация здравоохранения (ВОЗ) свидетельствует свое уважение государствам-членам и ассоциированным членам и имеет честь сообщить им, что в начале 2027 г. будут опубликованы международно сопоставимые оценки по вопросам беременности, абортов и репродуктивных намерений.

В соответствии с действующими стандартами качества публикуемых данных, перед официальной публикацией указанных оценок ВОЗ проводит консультации с государствами-членами для обзора информации, почерпнутой из первичных источников, выявления дополнительных источников данных, не использовавшихся ранее, и анализа индивидуальных страновых оценок, полученных в результате обработки национальных данных в статистической модели. Такие консультации с государствами-членами представляют значительный интерес для выработки международно сопоставимых оценок.

ВОЗ также информирует государства-члены о том, что на 2027 г. запланирована публикация международно сопоставимых оценок, касающихся безопасности абортов.

Консультации будут проводиться через Портал ВОЗ для страновых консультаций с участием назначенных координаторов.

В этой связи государствам-членам предлагается назначить одного или нескольких координаторов для участия в консультациях по оценкам, касающимся вопросов беременности, абортов и репродуктивных намерений. Информацию о назначенных координаторах, включая их контактные данные (фамилия/имя, должность, организация и адрес электронной почты), следует направить по адресу [email protected] в кратчайшие сроки до начала консультаций. По электронной почте координаторам будут направлены инструкции по доступу к Порталу ВОЗ для страновых консультаций.

Портал ВОЗ для страновых консультаций планируется открыть 22 июня 2026 г. на срок восемь недель. Материалы, представленные по истечении этого срока, могут быть не учтены при подготовке окончательной редакции страновых оценок.

Всемирная организация здравоохранения пользуется настоящей возможностью, чтобы вновь заверить государства-члены и ассоциированных членов в своем самом глубоком уважении.

La Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) presenta sus respetos a los Estados Miembros y Miembros Asociados y tiene el honor de informarlos de que las estimaciones internacionalmente comparables sobre los embarazos, los abortos y la intención de embarazo se publicarán a principios de 2027.

Con arreglo a las normas de calidad a que se atiene la OMS para publicar datos y antes de dar a conocer oficialmente las mencionadas estimaciones, la Organización mantiene consultas con sus Estados Miembros para que examinen la información recopilada a partir de las fuentes primarias de datos, velen por la inclusión de otras fuentes de datos que puede que no se hayan identificado con anterioridad y revisen las estimaciones de cada país derivadas del modelo estadístico aplicado a los datos por países. El proceso de obtención de las estimaciones internacionalmente comparables se beneficia enormemente de este tipo de intercambios con los Estados Miembros.

Asimismo, quisiéramos informar a los Estados Miembros de que está previsto que las estimaciones internacionalmente comparables sobre la seguridad del aborto se publiquen en 2027.

La consulta se llevará a cabo a través del portal de consulta de la OMS para los países con la persona o personas que hayan sido designadas como coordinadoras.

Se pide a los Estados Miembros que designen a una o varias personas como coordinadoras para las estimaciones sobre los embarazos, los abortos y la intención de embarazo. El nombre de la persona o personas designadas como coordinadoras, junto con sus señas de contacto (nombre completo, cargo, afiliación y dirección de correo electrónico), deberían enviarse lo antes posible y antes de la apertura de la consulta a la dirección: [email protected]. La persona o personas designadas como coordinadoras recibirán instrucciones por correo electrónico sobre cómo acceder al portal de consulta de la OMS para los países.

Está previsto que el portal de consulta de la OMS para los países se abra a partir del 22 de junio de 2026 y se cierre ocho semanas después. Toda información que se reciba con posterioridad a esa fecha podría no tenerse en cuenta en la publicación definitiva de las estimaciones por país.

La Organización Mundial de la Salud aprovecha esta oportunidad para reiterar a los Estados Miembros y Miembros Asociados el testimonio de su más alta consideración.
