Letter of confirmation
We hereby confirm thatManuel Seita will participate at the XIV Kohila Symposium.
The international woodfire ceramics residence takes place in Kohila, Estonia, 6–29.07.2024.
The studios and accommodations are located in a 17th century Tohisoo Manor (Viljandi mnt 37, Kohila 79804, Raplamaa - Rapla County, Estonia). The aim of the project is to encourage an international exchange in the field of ceramics as well as enhance appreciation and understanding of wood-firing.
The participation fee for the year 2024 is 600€.
Payment includes accommodation in a shared room and studio space, 100 kg of clay, some local glazes, wood-firings, meals (lunch and dinner), trips and transportation during the symposium.
Participation fee excludes travel expenses to and from Estonia, insurance, any additional materials and services, also museum tickets and breakfast.
Since the Symposion is unable to cover any travel costs or pay artist fees, we strongly encourage our participants to apply for external funding.
