I write to thank you and your colleagues in the Riigikohus, and indeed the many

Estonian judges I met, for your kindness and hospitality to me during my recent visit.

I was deeply honoured to have been invited to address the GeneralAssembly of the

Estonian Judiciary and I am very grateful for the warm reception I received.

I also appreciate the time you and your colleagues devoted to my visit to the

Riigikohus, and the work that clearly went into the presentations and tours arranged

for me.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn first-hand how your courts operate and to see the beautiful courthouses in which they work. I also very much enjoyed the gathering

which brought the week's proceedings to a close.

I look fonruard to future exchanges between our two countries and our judiciaries,

and to meeting you and your colleagues again. Please do not hesitate to contact me
