Brussels and Dublin,20.02026
Dear Colleague,
On behalf of the European Parliament and the Houses of the Oireachtas, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2026 Plenary meeting of the EPIC network.
This year's Plenary, hosted in collaboration between the European Parliament and the lrish Parliament, will take place from Monday 7 September to Wednesday 9 September 2026 at the Houses of the Oireachtas in Dublin, Ireland.
As our parliamentary environments become increasingly reliant upon robust digital infrastructures, this meeting serves as a vital forum for inter-parliamentary cooperation. The 2026 programme is designed to showcase the progress of our dedicated working groups and address the pressing technological challenges facing modern legislatures.
Programme highlights The twoand--ahalf-day agenda will feature a comprehensive agenda, including:
» Thematic presentations: In-depth insights from the working groups on digital sovereignty, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and procurement.
• Technical demonstrations: Exclusive sessions and demos hosted by the Houses of the Oireachtas.
• Keynote address: to be confirmed
• Plenary debates: The final day will allow participating Parliaments to reflect on the progress of the EPIC network and tangible activities to strengthen the digital resilience of our EU Member State Parliaments.
• Networking: networking reception in the Members' private dining room and a guided tour of the Irish Parliament.
Administrative arrangements This invitation is extended to all EPIC Network members and working group participants.
Please note that while the official programme-including the scheduled meals and coffee breaks mentioned in the agenda-is provided by the hosts, all travel, accommodation and additional expenses remain at the personal or institutional expense of the participants.
