Speaker Bios Lennig Pedron CEO, Trust Valley
Lennig Pedron is a recognized expert in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and
emerging technologies applied to the digital trust economy. She is CEO of Trust
Valley, the Swiss center of excellence for digital trust and cybersecurity, hosted by
the EPFL Innovation Park Foundation, where she works at the intersection of
innovation, regulation, and public–private collaboration.
Her work increasingly focuses on artificial intelligence as a critical infrastructure,
addressing challenges related to trustworthy AI deployment, governance,
resilience, and systemic risk. She advises public authorities, international
organizations, and private actors on AI-related trust frameworks, cyber-resilience,
and crisis management.
Lennig is co-founder and President of the NGO iCON, representing an international
community of over 100 digital trust experts, and represents iCON at the Council of
Europe. She previously served as a Data Protection expert for the Swiss
Confederation.
She regularly provides training and strategic advice to diverse audiences, including
law enforcement, prosecutors, financial institutions, and executive leaders. She has
been a judge for the GCSP 9/12 Geopolitical Challenge for four years and has
spoken at international forums such as the World Summit on the Information
Society (WSIS). She is co-author of The Fundamentals of Cyber Crisis Management
(Ellipses, 2022).
Linda Bonyo Founder & CEO, Lawyers Hub
Linda Bonyo is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lawyers Hub, a digital law
organization working on artificial intelligence policy and data governance in Africa,
and an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She is also Founder of Bonyo Law, a
boutique technology law firm headquartered in Nairobi and serving clients across
Africa and internationally. She convenes the Africa Law Tech Forum, where
policymakers, regulators, and bar associations in Africa lead the regulation of
emerging technologies, and founded the Africa AI Policy Lab, which produces
research and policy intelligence to position African nations as rule-makers in global
AI governance.
Ms. Bonyo has served two terms on the World Economic Forum’s Network of Global
Future Councils: the Global Council on Technology Policy (2023 to 2025) and the
Global Future Council on Autonomous Systems (2025 to 2026). She previously
served on the G20 Digital Working Group, serves on the African Union’s Artificial
Intelligence Working Group, and contributed to the AU’s Continental Data Policy
Framework Technical Committee. In 2024, she served in the UN’s Universal DPI
Safeguards initiative, stewarded by the Office of the UN Tech Envoy and UNDP. In
2025, she was appointed to the United Nations Commission on Science and
Technology for Development (CSTD) Multistakeholder Working Group on Data
Governance and to Responsible AI UK’s International Ambassadors Council. She
received the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP) AI Policy Leader Award in the
Business category in 2024. She believes in innovation that serves humanity, furthers
inclusion, and amplifies the voices of the global majority.
Cecilia Garcia Podoley Teaching Fellow, Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP)
Cecilia Garcia Podoley is an international lawyer and a seasoned ethics, compliance,
and AI governance specialist with deep experience in AI governance across the
public and private sectors. She is a Teaching Fellow at the Center for AI and Digital
Policy (CAIDP), and a member of its research group. She has led compliance
programs at several multinational enterprises and has performed and managed
internal investigations for more than fifteen years. In 2025 she founded a boutique
advisory firm specializing in ethics and compliance for the digital age.
She serves as Vice-Chair of the Board and Co-Chair of the AI and Compliance
Working Group at Ethics and Compliance Switzerland, and advises several NGOs.
