Warsaw, 6 July 2026
Ms. Liisa-Ly Pakosta
Minister of Justice and Digital Affairs Dear Minister,
At a time when Europe is facing growing challenges related to competitiveness, technological sovereignty and cybersecurity, Central and Eastern European countries have a unique opportunity to strengthen their cooperation and speak with a stronger, more coordinated regional voice.
With this objective in mind, the CEE Digital Coalition (www.ceedigital.org) and the Digital Poland Association are set out to bring together policymakers, industry leaders and experts from across the region for a series of high-level discussions in Warsaw focused on the future of Europe’s digital transformation.
We are therefore pleased to invite you to participate in the CEE Digital Summit Warsaw 2026, which will be held on 29 September 2026 under the theme: “One Region. One Competitive Europe. One Secure Future”.
CEE Digital Summit is the flagship annual platform for dialogue between governments, European institutions, industry, and academia from across Central and Eastern Europe. The event, organised by leading digital industry associations from across Central and Eastern Europe, aims to strengthen regional cooperation, identify common priorities and promote a more coordinated regional contribution to Europe's digital future. We would be honoured by your participation in the Summit and would welcome the opportunity to include your perspective among the high-level contributions shaping this year's discussion.
A key part of the programme will be a ministerial debate, scheduled on 29 September at 4:00 p.m.,dedicated to strengthening digital cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe. The discussion will explore how CEE countries can work more closely together through a coordinated approach to national and European policymaking, the development of cross-border technological initiatives and the alignment of national digital strategies. Participants will also discuss how the region can better leverage its collective strengths and coordinate its positions to establish Central and Eastern Europe as a leading European digital hub.
The Summit will be followed by the 8th Cybersecurity Forum, organised by the Ministry of Digital Affairs of the Republic of Poland, taking place on 30 September – 1 October 2026. As one of Poland's leading platforms dedicated to cybersecurity policy and international cooperation, the Forum will bring together ministers, senior government representatives, industry leaders and international partners to discuss Europe's digital resilience and cybersecurity priorities.
CEE Digital Summit is being organised in close cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Affairs, creating a seamless link between both events and ensuring the participation of the Minister of Digital Affairs in the key discussions throughout the two-day programme.
On the evening of 29 September, participants will be invited to a joint networking cocktail. On the following day, a closed working meeting will bring together representatives of the digital industry with Ministers responsible for digital affairs from Central and Eastern Europe and the Nordic countries, providing an opportunity for an informal strategic exchange ahead of the Cybersecurity Forum discussions.
Should you decide to accept our invitation, our team will be pleased to assist in coordinating your visit to Poland and facilitating your participation in both events. We remain at your disposal regarding logistical arrangements, bilateral meetings and any additional information that may be required. In this regard, please feel free to contact Mr. Łukasz Antkiewicz, Project Coordinator of the CEE Digital Summit Warsaw 2026, at +48 501 772 870 or via e-mail at [email protected].
We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us in Warsaw and contribute to shaping a stronger, more competitive and secure digital future for Central and Eastern Europe.
We look forward to welcoming you to Poland.
Yours sincerely,
Michał Kanownik President of Digital Poland Association Leader of CEE Digital Coalition
