Dear Prospective Participant,
We are pleased to extend a formal invitation to you and/or your esteemed organization to participate in the 2026 Global Conference on Sustainable Development (GCSD), a high-level international multi- stakeholder forum dedicated to advancing global sustainable development priorities and fostering collaborative solutions to pressing challenges.
The conference will be held in person from Monday 31 August 2026 – Friday 4 September 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily, at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London, United Kingdom. The event will bring together policymakers, development practitioners, academics, private-sector leaders, civil society representatives, and other key stakeholders from around the world to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and strengthen partnerships for sustainable development.
Participants will also have the opportunity to join an optional sponsored city tour on Saturday 5 September 2026, featuring visits to some of London’s most notable historical and cultural landmarks.
We would be honored by your presence and look forward to your valuable contribution to this important global dialogue.
Theme
The Summit Theme is: “Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Eradicating Poverty in Times of Multiple Crises: The Effective Delivery of Sustainable, Resilient, and Innovative Solutions.” This highlights the interconnected challenges facing our global community and the urgent need for inclusive, adaptive, and forward-looking strategies.
The GCSD 2026 will feature in-depth reviews of priority SDGs, including:
* SDG 1 – No Poverty * SDG 2 – Zero Hunger * SDG 13 – Climate Action * SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions * SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals
These sessions aim to accelerate implementation, promote knowledge exchange, and address key barriers to achieving the 2030 Agenda.
About GCSD 2026
GCSD 2026 is an inclusive platform convening Heads of State, UN agency officials, private sector leaders, civil society, academia, and more. It provides an opportunity to forge strategic partnerships, mobilize resources, and transform sustainable development commitments into measurable action.
Key Program Highlights
Key Program Highlights include dialogues exploring: financing innovation, corporate water stewardship, AI in human rights, private sector climate alignment, circular economy, and localized SDG implementation. Institutions are encouraged to commit to bold impact across areas such as climate action, inclusive growth, gender equity, and environmental governance.
Delegation Support Grant
To facilitate participation, confirmed delegates will receive a Delegation Support Grant to cover personal and incidental expenses during the summit. This grant will be disbursed upon arrival in the UK, after hotel check-in and on-site registration
Travel and Accommodation
Round-trip international airfare shall be covered for all duly confirmed participants under the sponsorship framework of the organizing committee and its designated programme partners. This support is provided strictly for participation facilitation purposes and is subject to confirmation of eligibility and final acceptance. Please be advised that accommodation and daily subsistence costs, including meals, shall remain the sole responsibility of the participant or their nominating institution.
