Dear Minister,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the International AI Summit, which is taking place in Dublin
on Wednesday, 14 October 2026 in the Royal Dublin Society (RDS).
As you will be aware, Ireland assumes the Presidency of the Council of the European Union
at a pivotal moment for Europe’s competitiveness, innovation capacity and technological
sovereignty. Against this backdrop, Ireland in partnership with the European Commission,
will host the International AI Summit on 14 October 2026, officially launching European AI
Innovation Month.
Held under the theme Harnessing AI to Revolutionise Europe’s Competitiveness, the Summit
will provide a platform for strategic dialogue on how Europe can strengthen its position as a
global leader in the development and deployment of applied, trustworthy and human-
centred artificial intelligence.
The Summit will bring together senior political leaders, policymakers, industry leaders,
researchers, investors and technology experts from across both Europe and around the
world. It will examine emerging global trends and opportunities for international
collaboration to ensure that Europe remains at the forefront of AI advancement. The
Summit will also explore how AI can transform key sectors of Europe’s economy and society
while expanding the boundaries of what may be achievable in the future.
Further information, including the Summit programme, speaker announcements and
registration details, is available on the International AI Summit website.
As attendance is by invitation only, we would be grateful if you could confirm your
participation through the electronic invitation that will issue in the coming days. As this is a
high-security event, all attendees will be required to complete an accreditation process in
advance of the Summit.
Where appropriate, an Accreditation Officer may be nominated to coordinate attendance
arrangements on your behalf. If you intend to attend with accompanying officials or advisers,
please provide their names and email addresses to
[email protected] to facilitate accreditation and security clearance
arrangements.
We look forward to welcoming you to Dublin for what promises to be a landmark occasion in
advancing Europe’s AI and Innovation agenda.
Yours sincerely
