DAY 283 SINCE THE “CEASEFIRE” DEAL: ISRAEL KILLED 1,123 PALESTINIANS IN GAZA,

BRINGING THE TOTAL TO 73,283 PALESTINIANS KILLED SINCE THE GENOCIDE BEGAN

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continue to carry out military attacks across the Gaza Strip, in blatant

violation of the declared “ceasefire” and disregard for Palestinian life, further exacerbating an already

catastrophic situation. Ongoing military operations, civilian killings, severe restrictions on humanitarian

access, the progressive and systematic confinement of civilians to an ever-shrinking area cutting

deeper into Gaza, and the continued collapse of essential services have deepened the crisis across the

war-ravaged Strip. According to UNRWA, Israeli restrictions on the entry of humanitarian supplies

continue to severely disrupt the delivery of life-saving assistance and essential services throughout

Gaza. The agency remains blocked from delivering humanitarian aid and deploying international

personnel despite the overwhelming needs on the ground. Meanwhile, the Israeli human rights

organization B’Tselem warned that Israel’s blockade, the destruction of food production and distribution

infrastructure, and restrictions on humanitarian assistance have pushed Gaza into an increasingly

severe state of exacerbated starvation. Against this backdrop, Israeli attacks on civilians continued

throughout the week, adding to the mounting human toll. On Tuesday, IOF killed a Palestinian child and

wounded several more civilians in an attack targeting Khan Younis. On the same day, an Israeli drone

strike hit the Al-Falouja area west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, killing six Palestinians,

including a woman, and injuring several others, some critically. Also on Tuesday, an Israeli strike

targeted a gathering of civilians near Khalil al-Wazir Mosque in the Sheikh Ijlin area of southern Gaza

City, killing one Palestinian and injuring several others. On Wednesday, an Israeli helicopter strike

struck a famly home in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, killing four members of the same family, including

a woman and her child. On Friday, an Israeli drone strike targeted civilians gathered during a funeral in

Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, killing eight Palestinians and injuring 20 others.

PALESTINIAN DETAINEES, INCLUDING MEDICAL STAFF, SUBJECTED TO SYSTEMATIC

TORTURE, ABUSE, AND GRAVE HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN ISRAELI CUSTODY

Israeli occupation authorities continue to subject Palestinian detainees, particularly detainees from

Gaza, including medical personnel, to serious violations that raise grave concerns under international

humanitarian and human rights law. Lawyer Khaled Mahajneh revealed harrowing accounts of the

conditions endured by detainees from Gaza held at the notorious “Sde Teiman” military detention camp,

including executions, sexual abuse and rape, severe torture, prolonged blindfolding and restraint,

prolonged confinement under degrading conditions in designated narrow spaces, denial of basic human

dignity, amputations performed without anesthesia, and the forced witnessing of the killing of fellow

detainees. Detainees also reported witnessing the killing of other detainees, including women and

children, and warned that many prisoners face life-threatening conditions because of the ongoing

abuse. Israeli occupation authorities have also continued to restrict independent humanitarian

monitoring of detention conditions by expanding limitations on International Committee of the Red

Cross (ICRC) visits to Palestinian detainees, despite an Israeli High Court ruling ordering the

resumption of such visits. At the same time, Israeli occupation forces continued to detain doctors,

nurses, and other healthcare workers, further undermining Gaza’s already devastated health system.

According to medical sources, Israeli occupation authorities have detained dozens of physicians and

hundreds of medical personnel since October 2023, including senior specialists whose absence has

severely disrupted essential medical services. The continued imprisonment of these healthcare

professionals deprived thousands of patients of critical medical expertise during "one of the cruelest

genocides in modern history."

ACCELERATED ISRAELI SETTLEMENT EXPANSION AND DE FACTO ANNEXATION OF THE

OCCUPIED WEST BANK

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli colonial planning authorities

advanced multiple settlement plans during July 2026 that allocate more than 1,069 dunams of

Palestinian land for the construction of 1,024 new settlement units. The plans also include planning

amendments aimed at increasing settlement density and facilitating further expansion, particularly

across the northern and southern occupied West Bank, reinforcing existing colonial settlements and

outposts, and further integrating them into Israel’s colonial settlement enterprise. On Israeli settlements

illegality, UN Secretary-General António Guterres reiterated that all Israeli settlements in the occupied

West Bank, including Jerusalem, along with their associated infrastructure, have no legal validity and

constitute a violation of international law and relevant UN resolutions. During the daily press briefing,

UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said that Guterres also expressed concern over Israel's decision

to grant "city" status to the settlement of Givat Ze'ev, emphasizing that such administrative designation

does not alter the settlement's illegal status under international law, and calling on Israel halt all colonial

expansion activities and related measures in line with relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

CONTINUED ISRAELI ATTACKS TARGETING PALESTINIAN AGRICULTURE AND LIVELIHOODS

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture’s weekly briefing, Israeli occupation authorities, with

the support of Israeli colonial settlers, continued implementing systematic measures targeting the

Palestinian agricultural sector as part of broader efforts to expand settlements and undermine

Palestinian resilience. Between 10 and 17 July 2026, documented direct agricultural losses exceeded

USD 1.86 million, including the uprooting, burning, or destruction of 1,355 olive trees, resulting in losses

exceeding USD 1.1 million. IOF and settlers also destroyed water wells, irrigation networks, water

pipelines, electricity infrastructure, agricultural roads, greenhouses, crops, vineyards, and livestock

facilities, while also bulldozing agricultural land and preventing farmers from accessing their fields. The

attacks particularly targeted the governorates of Nablus, Tubas, Hebron, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and

Tulkarm, where farmers reported repeated settler attacks, settler livestock grazing on cultivated land,

sewage discharge onto agricultural fields, theft of Palestinian livestock, and the destruction of olive

groves, vineyards, and other fruit trees. The Ministry warned that these systematic attacks have

become an integral part of Israeli policies aimed at weakening Palestinian food security, damaging the

rural economy, depriving farmers of their livelihoods, and facilitating settlement expansion through the

gradual seizure and fragmentation of Palestinian agricultural land.

ISRAEL'S CONTINUED AGGRESSION AGAINST THE NORTHERN WEST BANK

The occupation's aggression has persisted for 546 days against Jenin and its refugee camp, 540 days

against Tulkarem and its refugee camp, and 520 days against Nour Shams refugee camp, displacing

more than 33,000 Palestinian refugees since January 2025.

As the world prepared for the World Cup final, Israeli occupation forces claimed the life of another

Palestinian footballer. Seventeen-year-old Fadi Nassan succumbed on Saturday to wounds he

sustained a week earlier after being shot by Israeli occupation forces during a terror attack by Israeli

colonial settlers on his village in the occupied West Bank. With Fadi's killing, the number of martyrs

from the Palestinian sports movement since early October 2023, rises to 1,013 martyrs, including 568

martyrs from the Palestinian football family. Coinciding with the World Cup final between Spain and

Argentina on Sunday, Israeli colonial settlers carried out yet another deadly attack on the town of Deir

Jarir, east of Ramallah, killing Ahmad Makho (26) and Odeh Farakhneh (53), while seriously injuring

three other Palestinians. According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces also opened fire on an

ambulance transporting one of the wounded, obstructing emergency medical teams and delaying life-

saving treatment. Just one day earlier, Sujud Fuqaha (30) also lost her life after an Israeli military iron

gate delayed an ambulance transporting her to hospital for more than 30 minutes following a cardiac

arrest. The prolonged obstruction prevented her from receiving timely, lifesaving emergency medical

care, underscoring the life-threatening consequences of Israel's extensive movement restrictions

across the occupied West Bank as hundreds of military checkpoints, iron gates, and roadblocks

continue to obstruct emergency medical services, delay access to healthcare, disrupt daily life, and

place Palestinian lives at constant risk. These attacks reflect a broader pattern of increasingly

organized and coordinated violence by Israeli colonial settlers targeting the Palestinian people, their

homes, agricultural lands, and critical infrastructure across the occupied West Bank. Such attacks have

intensified markedly in recent months, particularly in rural areas, where Palestinians face repeated

assaults involving live ammunition, arson, property destruction, and intimidation aimed at forcibly

displacing them from their land. Frequently carried out in the presence of, under the protection of, or

alongside, Israeli occupation forces, these attacks have contributed to an increasingly impossible reality

of life in the occupied West Bank that undermines Palestinian safety, destroys livelihoods, and

accelerates the forced displacement of the Palestinian people from their land, accelerate Israel’s de-

facto annexation and taking over more Palestinian land.

Several European officials, on the sidelines of last week’s Palestine Donor Group Meeting in Brussels,

expressed satisfaction over the progress achieved by the Palestinian Government in implementing its

reform agenda, as well as the measures it has undertaken to strengthen governance, transparency,

and public financial management. In this context, European Commissioner for the Mediterranean

Dubravka Šuica praised the commitment of Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa and his

Government to continuing the implementation of reforms and enhancing transparency and fiscal

discipline in public finance management. Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa co-chaired, alongside

Commissioner Šuica, the second ministerial meeting of the Palestine Donor Group Meeting in Brussels,

with the participation of representatives from 65 countries and international institutions. During the

meeting, the Prime Minister called on international partners to strengthen political and financial support

for Palestine, provide emergency budgetary assistance, accelerate recovery and reconstruction efforts

in the Gaza Strip, and support the development of an independent Palestinian customs system. The

meeting concluded with international pledges amounting to nearly one billion dollars to support

recovery efforts in the Gaza Strip. The Prime Minister also held discussions with the High

Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, and a

number of European officials on the latest political, economic, and humanitarian developments.
