Informal Meeting of Equality Ministers
Save the Date – 22-23 November 2026
As part of Ireland’s programme for the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, Norma Foley would like you to save the date, 22-23 November 2026, for the Informal meeting of Equality Ministers in County Kerry, Ireland. Proceedings will commence on the evening of Sunday 22 November, with a gala dinner, hosted by Minister Foley, including a programme of Irish culture, music and dance. The informal meeting will take place on Monday 23 November. The informal meeting agenda will focus on progressing issues of gender equality and the rights of persons with disabilities. If delegations require consideration for more than one Head of Delegation, please notify Ireland’s Equality team in Brussels. An official invitation and practical information for the meeting will be sent in due course. Kerry is accessible through several airports including Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Kerry. Transport recommendations will be provided in the practical information note.
