Veeseaduse § 248 lõike 1 alusel ning vastavalt GlobalConnect AB poolt 05.08.2026 esitatud mereuuringu- ja laevaloa (edaspidi luba) muudatuse taotlusele täiendab Kliimaministeerium
algselt 23.02.2026 välja antud ja 30.06.2026 pikendatud luba seoses trassi asukoha nihkumisega. Uuring on plaanitud läbi viia alustega CAIUS ja TELEPAATTI kuni 31.12.2026.

MARINE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH PERMIT and ENTRY CLEARANCE supplement

Based on subsection 1 of § 248 of the Water Act and the application submitted by GlobalConnect
AB on 5 August 2026 due to route change, the Ministry of Climate hereby supplements the Marine
Scientific Research Permit and Research Vessel Entry Clearance (hereinafter ’Permit') that was
originally issued on 23 February 2026 and extended on 30 June 2026. The survey is to be carried
out with vessels CAIUS and TELEPAATTI until 31 December 2026.

In addition to the above, all conditions of the Permits No. 16-12/26/13, 16-12/26/26 and the
obligations of the research permit holder shall remain in force until the expiry of the Permit
on 31 December 2026.

Entry Clearance may be filed in Administrative Court within 30 days after the issuance of the
Permit.

Supplement to the Marine Research Permit and Entry
Clearance (CAIUS, TELEPAATTI)
Dear Adela Vestberg,
The Ministry of Climate is pleased to provide supplement to the Marine Research Permit and Entry
Clearance (hereinafter ‘Permit’) that was previously issued for Route 3 (between Hiiumaa and Estonian mainland) on 23 February 2026, and subsequently extended on 30 June 2026.
This supplement authorizes geophysical surveys within the updated coordinates while all the conditions of the original permit No. 16-12/26/13 and its extension No. 16-12/26/26 remain
