On behalf of the Judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and on my own behalf, І have the great honour and pleasure to extend our warmest and most sincere congratulations to you, as well as to the Judges and staff of the Supreme Court ofthe Republic ofEstonia, and to the people ofEstonia, on the occasion ofthe Restoration oflndependence ofthe Republic ofEstonia.

On this important and deeply meaningful day, we wish the people ofEstonia lasting реасе, prosperity and continued success, as well as strength and determination to safeguard the achievements of independence and further strengthen the democratic foundations of the Estonian state.

Since the restoration of Estonia' s independence, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Estonia has played an important role in safeguarding the Constitution, upholding the rule of law and strengthening the constitutional order of an independent and democratic Estonia. For us, as the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, this role and experience are particularly meaningful, especially at а time when Ukraine is defending its independence, sovereignty and constitutional order.

We greatly value the friendship and trust between our institutions and look forward to continuing our close cooperation and further strengthening the relations between our Courts through dialogue, mutual support and the sharing of experience.

Мау реасе, freedom and prosperity continue to flourish in Estonia, and may the bonds offriendship, solidarity and cooperation between Estonia and Ukraine grow ever stronger.
