Dear Mr. Minister,
1 am writing to draw your attention to a workshop on SME Digital Transforrnation
Strategies (1) coordinated by Taiwan’s International Cooperation and Developrnent Fund
(ICDF), which is scheduled to take place frorn 22 May to 4 June 2024, and is now accepting
application.
The said workshop aims at understanding Taiwan’s policies and approaches for guiding
industries in digital transformation while sharing how digital transformation has irnpacted
businesses and the new business modeis have developed. Tentative contents include the
strategies and policies that Taiwan government have initiated to support digital
transformation in traditional industries, business innovation of how traditional industry
operators are stepping into the realm of digital transformation, and how the public views
new services and business modeis.
This workshop is intended to be a forum for experience sharing and robust discussions
arnong officials of Ministry of Econorny, CEOs and directors of technological institutions,
experts of loT and innovation organizations. ICDF will be responsible for providing
attendees with round-trip econorny class air ticket, lodging, rneals, local transportation and
daily stipend ofNT$700(€202) during their stay in Taiwan.
On behalf of the ICDF, 1 am writing to invite one senior official of your great government
involving econorny, technology or digitalization to participate in this event that is promising
for developing bilateral digital cooperation with your great Country.
