4. Venue Lillepaviljon and Tuljak café Pirita tee 26
The meeting will take place at Lillepaviljon (The Flower Pavilion), a landmark of modern Estonian architecture designed by renowned architect Valve Pormeister and completed in 1960. Originally trained as a landscape architect, Pormeister was known for integrating architecture closely with its natural surroundings. Lillepaviljon reflects this approach through its glass façades, terraces and seamless connection with the surrounding landscape.
Located on Tallinn’s seafront next to the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, Lillepaviljon forms, together with the nearby Tuljak café, an important architectural ensemble of 1960s Estonia. The adjacent Song Festival Grounds are the heart of Estonia’s Song Celebration tradition, which for more than 150 years has played a central role in preserving Estonian language, culture and national identity. The tradition is recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage.
