Letter of Support for the Project "Youth in Evolving Digital Environments: Learning, Wellbeing, Engagement and Regulation”
The Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Estonia expresses its support for the project proposal “YIELD – Youth in Evolving Digital Environments: Learning, Wellbeing, Engagement and Regulation” (HORIZON-CL2-2026-01-TRANSFO-04). As the national authority responsible for child welfare and social policies, we recognise the critical need for research on how digital environments affect youth. The objectives of the YIELD project align with our focus on improving children's mental and social well-being. We hereby declare our interest and willingness to support the YIELD project by collaborating if it gets funded. We commit to providing a forum for the research team in the format of our Children’s Wellbeing Data Seminar. Through partnership, we are ready to contribute our sector- specific expertise to focus the research questions on the most relevant practical and policy needs. Furthermore, we aim to help interpret the findings from a practitioner, policy, or user perspective, and contribute to subsequent dissemination, awareness-raising, and policy or practice recommendations. Please note that our organization will not provide nor expect financial or in-kind contributions for this collaboration. We look forward to a successful cooperation with the YIELD consortium Yours sincerely, (signed digitally) Hanna Vseviov Deputy Secretary General on Social Affairs
