Thank you for your cooperation in providing the State aid expenditure report, as required by Commission Regulation (EC) No 794/2004.
Please find attached the aggregate State aid expenditure reported by your authorities for the 2026 reporting exercise.

We would draw your attention to the following points:

·           State aid expenditures are presented in the State aid Scoreboard mostly in terms of aid element granted by the Member State to the recipient of the aid. The aid element does not represent the nominal amount spent by the public authority, but measures the economic advantage passed on to the undertaking.

·           The quantification of the aid element for the Scoreboard is an economic exercise to appreciate the effective advantage passed on to the companies, and is without prejudice to the determination of the aid amount under the COVID-19 Temporary Framework and the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework.

·           The Scoreboard data excludes most of the aid to railways, services of general economic interest and schemes approved under the State Aid Temporary Framework of the financial crisis (2010).

In the fiches, the nominal amount appears as 0 if not reported, including where not required in the SARI2 application. All the information provided in SARI2 can be also downloaded directly in the tool.
The country fiches are in national currency in use in each given year.

We would kindly ask you to approve the aggregated data before 2 October 2026, to [email protected] (cc: State Aid Registry [email protected], mentioning HT.100559 in subject). Beyond this date, your agreement on the data will be assumed.
