Dear Minister Vahtras,

Congratulations on your appointment as Estonia’s Minister of Economy and
Industry.

I am writing on behalf of the Dubai World Trade Centre to invite you to
speak at GITEX Global 2026, taking place in Dubai from 7–11 December, and
to join a programme of high-level meetings with government, technology and
investment leaders during the event.

Now in its 46th edition, GITEX Global is the world’s largest technology
and startup event, bringing together more than 200,000 participants,
including heads of state, ministers, sovereign wealth leaders, Fortune 500
executives, founders, investors and global technology leaders. This year’s
programme will examine the defining questions shaping the next era of AI
and technology: how countries build the infrastructure, capital base and
skills required to scale; how they secure and govern emerging
technologies; and how innovation is translated into sustained economic
value.

Given your responsibility for Estonia’s economic and industrial agenda,
your perspective on the conditions required for countries to build and
scale AI-driven economies across capability, infrastructure, investment
and industrial adoption would be especially relevant to the Summit. We
previously had the opportunity to host Minister Erkki Keldo, your
predecessor in this role, at GITEX Global and would welcome the
opportunity to continue Estonia’s participation this year.

Beyond the speaking engagement, we would be pleased to include you in a
broader leadership programme comprising curated meetings with ministers,
policymakers, investors and enterprise leaders, alongside invitation-only
discussions focused on the Summit’s agenda.
