On the Occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine

Dear Mr Petryshyn,

On behalf of the Supreme Court of Estonia, I extend my warrnest congratulations to the

Constitutional Court of Ukraine on the occasion of its 3Oth anniversary.

Over the past three decades, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine has played an important role

in upholding constitutional principles, safeguarding fundamental rights and strengthening the

rule of law. These responsibilities are particularly significant in the extraordinary circumstances

Ukraine continues to face.

We highly value the friendship and cooperation between our courts. [t was a particular pleasure

and honour to welcome our Ukrainian colleagues to Estonia during their study visit. The time

we spent together provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences. share perspectives

and establish personal and professional ties that we trust will endure for many years to come.

We sincerely hope that circumstances will soon allow us to meet again, this time in Kyiv, in a

more peaceful and secure Ukraine.

At this challenging time, we wish our Ukrainian colleagues continued strength, resilience and

determination in fulfilling their constitutional duties and protecting fundamental rights and the

rule of law, even under the most difficult circumstances.
