Dear Sir/Madam,
We would like to invite your Member State/EEA-EFTA country to submit nominations or re-nominations for membership of ECHA’s Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC) and Committee for Socio-Economic Analysis (SEAC) for membership terms commencing in 2027.
Please find attached the invitation letter and supporting annexes, which provide detailed information on the nomination process, eligibility requirements, documentation to be submitted, current vacancies, and the expertise sought for both Committees.
We kindly invite you to submit nominations, together with the required supporting documentation, by 2 November 2026. Nominations should be transmitted through the Permanent Representation/Mission to the EU in accordance with the instructions outlined in the attached letter.
Nominating authorities are welcome to liaise with the Chairs of RAC and SEAC prior to submitting nomination documents. Such exchanges may be useful when considering suitable profiles for first-time nominees or discussing the experience and contribution of current members proposed for re- nomination. However, nominations and re-nominations are welcome regardless of whether such prior discussions have taken place.
