The Council of Sworn Bailiffs of Latvia would like to inform you of the updated fees for the service of foreign documents.

As of October 21, 2026 the Council is registered for VAT purposes in Latvia. Consequently, the applicable fee for the service of documents has changed.

The applicable fee depends on whether the transmitting agency is registered for VAT purposes in an EU Member State, as follows:

Please ensure that all bank transfer fees and any other related charges are borne by the sender so that the full applicable amount is received by the Council of Sworn Bailiffs of Latvia.

If the transmitting agency is registered for VAT purposes in an EU Member State, please provide its VAT identification number when making the payment and include proof of payment when submitting the request for service of documents.

Please take these updated fees into account when submitting any new requests to the Council.

The previous fee of EUR 133.33 remains applicable to requests submitted before October 21, 2026.
