Ministerial Roundtable, 2025 GSW in Berlin.
Dear Hon. Minister--
I am pleased to invite you to the 2027 Global Summit of Women and its Ministerial Roundtable hosted by Bangkok, Thailand, on June 10-12, 2027. Entering
its 37th year, the Summit’s Ministerial Roundtable continues to provide a forum for exchanges on what works in advancing women’s and girls’ economic progress.
Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Commerce Suphajee Suthumpun will
host the Ministerial Roundtable this year and will welcome you to this forum. I hope your agenda will enable you to join fellow Ministers in Bangkok next June.
The Summit’s Ministerial Roundtable takes place on
Thursday, June 10 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Centara Grand Hotel and Conference Center, focusing on Public/Private Sector
Partnerships advancing economic opportunities for women and girls. We invite you to
present a successful project undertaken by your Ministry to improve women’s economic opportunities in your country. This
exchange enables all those participating to possibly learn of new initiatives like yours that may be replicable in their own economies.
All the programs/projects presented will be assembled in a portfolio with other Ministers’ best practices. The Roundtable enables discussions of presented programs in a supportive forum closed to the media. The Ministerial Roundtable opens the 3-day Summit, whose theme Women: Changing Possibilities to Power in a Shifting World – reflects what is needed now more than ever as the world splinters into factions and broken alliances. The Summit averages 1,000 participants from 60+ countries along with government officials such as yourself in a separate forum. Many Ministers have led delegations of women entrepreneurs at prior Summits to explore cross-border markets through networking with other country delegations.
Here is a form for your staff’s use to outline briefly any program or policy you have selected to present at the Ministerial. In addition, here’s a brief pictorial overview of the Summit to give you a sense of this global business/economic forum for women now three-decades running. It would be an honor to have you join us at this global gathering to hear more about the work your ministry is doing to advance women and girls in your country. I look forward to possibly welcome you to Bangkok next June. For additional information on the 2027 Global Summit of Women, visit https://globewomen.org/globalsummit/ .
