Subject: Applications Open: UK Parliament Study Programme 2027 (UKPSP'27)
The House of Commons Interparliamentary Relations Office (IPRO), in partnership with colleagues from the House of Lords, is pleased to invite applications for the UK Parliament Study Programme 2027 (UKPSP'27).
UKPSP'27 is the UK Parliament's flagship professional development programme for parliamentary officials. The programme brings together a small cohort of parliamentary officials from legislatures around the world to exchange knowledge, experience and good practice, while developing a deeper understanding of the work of the UK Parliament.
The programme will run between February and July 2027 and will comprise four online sessions, followed by a five-day study visit to Westminster.
As places are limited, participation in UKPSP'27 is restricted to one official per legislature. We would therefore be grateful if recipients could share this opportunity with interested colleagues as appropriate and ensure that any application has the support of their legislature.
Further information, including eligibility criteria, programme content, key dates, and details of the nomination and application process, can be found in the attached UKPSP'27 Programme Guide.
Applications should be submitted using the following online application form:
Applications must be received by 16:00 (UK Time) on Monday 23 November 2026.
In addition, applicants should arrange for a letter or email of support from their Clerk, Secretary General, or equivalent senior official to be sent to [email protected] by the application deadline. The supporting letter or email should confirm:
The applicant's nomination and support for their participation in the programme; and
Should you have any questions about the programme or experience any difficulties accessing the application form, please contact the UK Parliament Study Programme Team at [email protected].
We look forward to receiving applications and supporting documentation before the deadline.
Kind regards
UK Parliament Study Programme Team
