Sehr geehrte Frau, sehr geehrter Herr,
Thema: Einladung zur Teilnahme an der 8. Konferenz der Präsidentinnen und
Präsidenten der Oberlandesgerichte der Europäischen Union vom 12. bis
14. Juni 2024 in Bukarest, Rumänien
wir haben die Ehre, Ihnen mitzuteilen, dass das rumänische Justizministerium vom 12. bis
14. Juni 2024 in Bukarest die 8.th Konferenz der Präsidentinnen und Präsidenten der
Oberlandesgerichte der Europäischen Union ausrichten wird, eine wichtige Veranstaltung,
an der etwa 50 Richter, Präsidenten der Oberlandesgerichte aus allen Mitgliedstaaten der
Europäischen Union teilnehmen werden.
Die alle zwei Jahre stattfindenden Konferenzen der Präsidentinnen und Präsidenten der
Oberlandesgerichte der Europäischen Union sind prestigeträchtige Veranstaltungen, die
nach dem Grundsatz der Mehrsprachigkeit organisiert werden (Simultandolmetschen in
die Sprache des ausrichtenden Landes sowie ins Englische, Französische und Deutsche),
mit einem hochwertigen Vortragsprogramm zu Themen wie Rechte und Freiheiten der
Richter, Digitalisierung der Gerichte, Gerichtsverwaltung, internationale
Zusammenarbeit, Elemente der Rechtsvergleichung sowie mit hochwertigen
gesellschaftlichen Veranstaltungen wie Exkursionen oder offiziellen Abendessen. Die
Veranstaltungen zeichnen sich auch durch die Anwesenheit hochkarätiger und im
aktuellen europäischen Kontext relevanter Gäste aus, wie etwa Mitglieder von Justizräten
oder Justizministern.
Die Konferenzen stehen den Präsidenten, Vizepräsidenten und Richtern der
Oberlandesgerichte, unabhängig von ihrer Spezialisierung, den Vertretern der obersten
Gerichte, der Justizministerien und der Justizräte offen, unabhängig davon, ob sie noch
im Amt sind oder bereits in den Ruhestand getreten sind.
Am Ende der letzten Konferenz, die im Juni 2022 unter der Schirmherrschaft des
Oberlandesgerichts Innsbruck (Österreich) stattfand, wurde Rumänien durch seine
Teilnehmer eingeladen, dem Lenkungsausschuss der Konferenzen beizutreten und die
Konferenz 2024 auszurichten. Für die rumänische Justiz ist es eine Premiere und ein
echtes Privileg, eine Veranstaltung von solchem internationalen Prestige zu organisieren.

annehmen würden. Das Thema der Konferenz lautet "Grundrechte und Freiheiten in
der Justiz und Digitalisierung, künstliche Intelligenz und Justiz", Themen, die für die
Präsidenten der Oberlandesgerichte - Schlüsselfaktoren in den von ihnen vertretenen
Justizsystemen - von Interesse sind.
Die Konferenzvorträge werden am 13. und 14. Juni 2024 im Saal "Constantin Stere" im
ersten Stock des Parlamentspalastes in Bukarest stattfinden, der vom rumänischen Senat
zur Verfügung gestellt wird.
Die Teilnehmer werden in den Nächten vom 12. bis 13. Juni und vom 13. bis 14. Juni 2024
im Radisson Blu Hotel Bukarest 5* untergebracht. Das Begrüßungsdinner findet am
Mittwochabend, den 12. Juni 2024, im Hotel statt.
Der Preis für ein Einzelzimmer im Hotel beträgt 212 Euro pro Nacht.
Die Kosten für Unterkunft und Transport der Teilnehmer werden von den entsendenden
Einrichtungen getragen. Die Kosten für Ausflüge, Mahlzeiten und Transfers zwischen
Flughafen, Hotel und Konferenzort werden von den Organisatoren übernommen.
Begleitpersonen sind willkommen, sich den Teilnehmern in Bukarest anzuschließen.

Subject: Invitation to participate in the 8th edition of the Conference of the
Presidents of the Courts of Appeal of the European Union on 12-14 June
2024 in Bucharest, Romania
We have the honour to inform you that the Ministry of Justice of Romania will host the
8th edition of the Conference of the Presidents of the Courts of Appeal of the European
Union, in Bucharest on 12 - 14 June 2024, a major event which will be attended by
approximately 50 judges, Presidents of Courts of Appeal from all the Member States of
the European Union.
Held every two years, the Conferences of the Presidents of the Courts of Appeal of the
European Union are prestigious events, organised in accordance with the principle of
multilingualism (simultaneous interpretation into the language of the organising country
and into English, French and German), with a high-quality programme of lectures on
subjects such as the rights and freedoms of the judges, the digitalisation of courts, court
management, international cooperation, elements of comparative law, and with high-
quality social events such as excursions or official dinners. The events are also
distinguished by the presence of special guests of high calibre and relevance in the current
European context, such as members of judicial councils or ministers of justice.
The conferences are open to presidents, vicepresidents, and judges from courts of appeal,
irrespective of the specialisation of the court, representatives of supreme courts,
ministries of justice and judicial councils, whether in office, former or retired.
At the end of the last Conference, which took place in June 2022 under the auspices of
the Court of Appeal Innsbruck (Austria), Romania, through its participants, was invited to
join the Steering Committee of the conferences and to host the 2024 edition. For the
Romanian judiciary it is a first and a real privilege to organise an event of such
international prestige.

In view of your outstanding professional experience, we would be particularly

theme of the Conference is "Fundamental rights and freedoms in the judiciary and
Digitalisation, artificial intelligence and justice", topics of interest to the Presidents

Nous avons l'honneur de vous informer que le Ministère de la Justice de Roumanie
accueillera la 8e édition de la Conférence des présidents des cours d'appel de l'Union
européenne, à Bucarest du 12 au 14 juin 2024, un événement majeur auquel participeront
environ 50 juges, présidents des cours d'appel de tous les états membres de l'Union
européenne.
Organisées tous les deux ans, les conférences des présidents des cours d'appel de l'Union
européenne sont des événements prestigieux, organisés selon le principe du
multilinguisme (interprétation simultanée dans la langue du pays organisateur et en
anglais, français et allemand), avec un programme de conférences de qualité sur des
sujets tels que les droits et libertés des juges, la numérisation des tribunaux, la gestion
des tribunaux, la coopération internationale, des éléments de droit comparé, et avec des
événements sociaux de qualité tels que des excursions ou des dîners officiels. Les
événements se distinguent également par la présence d'invités spéciaux de haut niveau
et pertinents dans le contexte européen actuel, tels que des membres de conseils
judiciaires ou des ministres de la justice.
Les conférences sont ouvertes aux présidents, vice-présidents et juges des cours d'appel,
quelle que soit la spécialisation de la cour, aux représentants des cours suprêmes, des
ministères de la justice et des conseils de la magistrature, qu'ils soient en fonction,
anciens ou retraités.
A l'issue de la dernière Conférence, qui s'est tenue en juin 2022 sous les auspices de la
Cour d'appel d'Innsbruck (Autriche), la Roumanie, par l'intermédiaire de ses participants,
a été invitée à rejoindre le Comité directeur des conférences et à accueillir l'édition 2024.
Pour le système judiciaire roumain, c'est une première et un réel privilège d'organiser un

Les sessions de la conférence se tiendront les 13 et 14 juin 2024 dans la salle "Constantin
Stere", au 1er étage du Palais du Parlement de Bucarest, mise à disposition par le Sénat
roumain.

Thema: Einladung zur Teilnahme an der 8. Konferenz der Präsidentinnen und
Präsidenten der Oberlandesgerichte der Europäischen Union vom 12. bis
14. Juni 2024 in Bukarest, Rumänien
wir haben die Ehre, Ihnen mitzuteilen, dass das rumänische Justizministerium vom 12. bis
14. Juni 2024 in Bukarest die 8.th Konferenz der Präsidentinnen und Präsidenten der
Oberlandesgerichte der Europäischen Union ausrichten wird, eine wichtige Veranstaltung,
an der etwa 50 Richter, Präsidenten der Oberlandesgerichte aus allen Mitgliedstaaten der
Europäischen Union teilnehmen werden.
Die alle zwei Jahre stattfindenden Konferenzen der Präsidentinnen und Präsidenten der
Oberlandesgerichte der Europäischen Union sind prestigeträchtige Veranstaltungen, die
nach dem Grundsatz der Mehrsprachigkeit organisiert werden (Simultandolmetschen in
die Sprache des ausrichtenden Landes sowie ins Englische, Französische und Deutsche),
mit einem hochwertigen Vortragsprogramm zu Themen wie Rechte und Freiheiten der
Richter, Digitalisierung der Gerichte, Gerichtsverwaltung, internationale
Zusammenarbeit, Elemente der Rechtsvergleichung sowie mit hochwertigen
gesellschaftlichen Veranstaltungen wie Exkursionen oder offiziellen Abendessen. Die
Veranstaltungen zeichnen sich auch durch die Anwesenheit hochkarätiger und im
aktuellen europäischen Kontext relevanter Gäste aus, wie etwa Mitglieder von Justizräten
oder Justizministern.
Die Konferenzen stehen den Präsidenten, Vizepräsidenten und Richtern der
Oberlandesgerichte, unabhängig von ihrer Spezialisierung, den Vertretern der obersten
Gerichte, der Justizministerien und der Justizräte offen, unabhängig davon, ob sie noch
im Amt sind oder bereits in den Ruhestand getreten sind.
Am Ende der letzten Konferenz, die im Juni 2022 unter der Schirmherrschaft des
Oberlandesgerichts Innsbruck (Österreich) stattfand, wurde Rumänien durch seine
Teilnehmer eingeladen, dem Lenkungsausschuss der Konferenzen beizutreten und die
Konferenz 2024 auszurichten. Für die rumänische Justiz ist es eine Premiere und ein
echtes Privileg, eine Veranstaltung von solchem internationalen Prestige zu organisieren.

Die Konferenzvorträge werden am 13. und 14. Juni 2024 im Saal "Constantin Stere" im
ersten Stock des Parlamentspalastes in Bukarest stattfinden, der vom rumänischen Senat
zur Verfügung gestellt wird.
Die Teilnehmer werden in den Nächten vom 12. bis 13. Juni und vom 13. bis 14. Juni 2024
im Radisson Blu Hotel Bukarest 5* untergebracht. Das Begrüßungsdinner findet am
Mittwochabend, den 12. Juni 2024, im Hotel statt.
Der Preis für ein Einzelzimmer im Hotel beträgt 212 Euro pro Nacht.

8th edition of the Conference of the Presidents of the Courts of Appeal of the European
Union, in Bucharest on 12 - 14 June 2024, a major event which will be attended by
approximately 50 judges, Presidents of Courts of Appeal from all the Member States of
the European Union.
Held every two years, the Conferences of the Presidents of the Courts of Appeal of the
European Union are prestigious events, organised in accordance with the principle of
multilingualism (simultaneous interpretation into the language of the organising country
and into English, French and German), with a high-quality programme of lectures on
subjects such as the rights and freedoms of the judges, the digitalisation of courts, court
management, international cooperation, elements of comparative law, and with high-
quality social events such as excursions or official dinners. The events are also
distinguished by the presence of special guests of high calibre and relevance in the current
European context, such as members of judicial councils or ministers of justice.
The conferences are open to presidents, vicepresidents, and judges from courts of appeal,
irrespective of the specialisation of the court, representatives of supreme courts,
ministries of justice and judicial councils, whether in office, former or retired.
At the end of the last Conference, which took place in June 2022 under the auspices of
the Court of Appeal Innsbruck (Austria), Romania, through its participants, was invited to
join the Steering Committee of the conferences and to host the 2024 edition. For the
Romanian judiciary it is a first and a real privilege to organise an event of such
international prestige.
