It gives me great pleasure to inform Your Honorable that a series of rnedical training projects organized by ‘tTaiwan International Health Training Center (TIHTC)’ under the Ministry of Health and Welfare will take place from October to Novernber physically in Taiwan this year.
TIHTC was established in 2002 with the aim of providing professional courses in health insurance, medical management, clinical medicine, public health and nursing for foreign experts in fields of rnedical and health care. TIHTC also integrates the top medical teams and resources in Taiwan and provides continuing professional development training for healthcare professional s around the world.
Renowned for its expertise in crafting training initiatives tailored to meet the needs of their trainees’ career development, the Center has trained over 2,100 healthcare professionais
from over 80 countries, and signed partnership agreements in international heafthcare developrnent with 44 medical institutions in 10 countries. Now it provides training to more than 100 international medicals, healthcare, and administration personnel per year.
The 2024 TIHTC trairiing projects include “Emergency Care & Burn Injuries Management”
that targets medical professionais who work in emergency medicine, burn care or plastic surgery departrnent and “Healthcare Management & National Health Insurance” that targets healthcare professionais who carry adrninistrative responsibilities in healthcare institutions
as well as in government health agencies.

As giobal medical training and emergency aid have becorne a trend in giobal healthcare system. The said projects are ideal platforms intended for introducing Taiwan’s experience in ernergency care, burn injuries management, healthcare managernent as well as national health insurance.
