French Engineers Dantzig day

Invitation letter

Dear Lieutenant Colonel,

Brigadier General Thierry Tricand de La Goutte, Head of Arm and Commander of the French Engineers’ School, would like to invite you to attend the French Engineer’s Dantzig day on 12 & 13 June in Angers. Dantzig commemoration day is an annual event that draws together the French and internatiotional Chiefs Engineers and Batallion Commanders, it is also a unique occasion to organize a forum with industrial partners focused on the issues and equipment of the Engineering Corps. The programme will include: - Wednesday 12 June (pm / evening):

• Inauguration of an exhibition in the French Engineer Museum focused on the history of mines. • Welcome cocktail.

- Thursday 13 June:

• Conference about Combat Engineering. • Engineering Innovation Award. • Forum with industrial partners. • Parade with representatives of all FR Engr Regts.

This event is organized by the Doctrine and Policy Branch, commanded by Colonel Jean-Charles CAMPS.
