(onsite)
Your Excellency,
I am pleased to invite you to the presentation event of the report from the Commission
to the European Parliament, the Council and the European Economic and Social
Committee on the application and implementation of Directive (EU) 2018/957 of the
European Parliament and of the Council of 28 June 2018 amending Directive 96/71/EC
concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services. The event
will take place onsite on the 31st of May 2024 from 09.30 to 16.30 (Brussels time) at the
Conference Centre Albert Borschette, Rue Froissart 36, 1040 Brussels.
The event is organised by the European Commission’s DG for Employment, Social Affairs
and Inclusion and will mark the publication of the report as well as the accompanying staff
working document. The report (1) reviews the application and implementation by Member
States of Directive (EU) 2018/957, as required by its Article 2. The staff working
document (2) presents the results of the review of the application and implementation of
the Directive in greater detail than in the report to the EU institutions, which focuses on
the main trends.
