Please find attached a Nomination/Election package to determine the successor of Ms. Lene Lind. The package includes a Nomination Form that must be filled, signed by either the Governor or the Alternate Governor of MIGA, and returned to us as soon as possible,
but no later than 6:00 p.m. Washington, DC time on Monday, June 3, 2024, at which time the nomination process will close.
You are kindly requested to nominate the new Director online through the Nominations and Elections Module in the
Governors’ Portal. For any questions or requests for assistance to access the Governors’ Portal, please email
[email protected]. Currently, for a transitional period, we are accepting signed and scanned Nomination Forms that may be completed and returned to us by e-mail attachment
to [email protected].

NOMINATION AND ELECTION OF MIGA DIRECTOR
(Successor to Ms. Lene Lind)
1. The Chair of the Board of Directors of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency
(MIGA) has directed me to inform you that pursuant to Article 41(b) of the Convention
Establishing MIGA, an election will be held of a Director to serve the remainder of the term of
Ms. Lene Lind who has resigned as Director effective June 30, 2024.
2. The members whose Governors are eligible to participate in the election are Denmark,
Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden.
3. Any nomination by your Governor should be submitted to the Vice President and
Corporate Secretary of MIGA by rapid means of communication and must be received by MIGA
not later than 6:00 p.m., Washington DC time, on Monday, June 3, 2024. Governors are
kindly requested to nominate the new Director online through the Nominations and Elections
Module in the Governors’ Portal. Currently, for a transitional period, we are accepting signed
and scanned Nomination Forms transmitted by email attachment to

June 4, 2024, in order that the Governor may vote thereon. However, if all Governors nominate
