We hereby confirm that:
1) we agree to the submission of the application Yes
Additional comments (optional)
We hereby confirm that the Social Welfare Board of the Republic of Estonia supports the project proposal “Strengthening Assistance and Fostering Empowerment for Gender-based Violence Victims and Survivors within Migrant Communities in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania“ (SAFE) written by the International Organization for Migration. This letter pertains to the European Commission's call for proposals to prevent and combat gender-based violence and violence against children under the Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values Program call (CERV-2024-DAPHNE). We support the project's efforts to improve victim support in Estonia, particularly in addressing gender-based violence among migrant women, a crucial national issue. We express our willingness to participate in the project as an associated partner without financial contribution. We are ready to share information about training sessions with potential participants so that they can enhance their ability to recognize, prevent, and respond to gender-based violence among migrant women. The proposed activities present a valuable opportunity for further development of the victim support system with a focus on migrant women residing in Estonia and cooperation with various national and international partners.
