Good afternoon,
My name is Ksenija Ivanović, and I am a junior researcher and project manager for the EU-funded Horizon Europe project Global Strategy for skills, migration and development (GS4S). I am reaching out on behalf of professor Tesseltje de Lange, director of the Centre for Migration Law at Radboud University and principal investigator on the GS4S project.
The GS4S research team from Radboud University would like to invite a representative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications (perhaps the Department of Employment) to contribute to our research in Estonia as an expert interviewee. We believe that it is important to learn from you and integrate your perspective into our findings. Please find attached the invitation containing further details, as well as the project flyer.
Do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions. We look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Ksenija Ivanović

Dear representatives of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications,
Invitation for an interview with the Horizon Europe project GS4S
As a team of researchers from Radboud University in The Netherlands. we are reaching out to you with an invitation to participate in our EU-funded Horizon Europe project ‘Global Strategy for skills, migration and development (GS4S).’ The project is led by professor Tesseltje de Lange, director of the Centre for Migration Law at Radboud University.
Over the next three years, GS4S consortium will aim to develop new knowledge and design practical tools for addressing skills shortages in Digital/Care/Construction sectors in six regions (EU, EEA, Western Balkan, Middle East and Northern Africa, West Africa, and South/South-East Asia). As part of our interdisciplinary research, we are conducting policy interviews with representatives of academia, CSOs, public authorities and the private sector in Estonia. Our research explores several topics: (i) skills shortages in selected sectors, (ii) the relationship between different public policies or initiatives in areas of migration, education and development in Estonia (in the three sectors) and (iii) active labor market policies (ALMPs).
We would like to kindly invite a representative from the Ministry to contribute to our research as an expert interviewee. We wish to learn more from you about topics mentioned above, and we believe it is important to integrate your perspective into our findings. If necessary, we are also happy to talk to two of your representatives.
The interview would be held online with members of the research team from Radboud University, and it would last no longer than 1 hour. Before the interview, we would provide additional privacy/consent-related information, and a detailed interview guide with questions adapted to the specific expertise of the interviewee. Should you be available, we are free to schedule the call in the coming weeks.
Additional details about the project are available on our website, as well as in the flyer you received together with this invitation. Should you have any questions, please reach out to Colleen Boland ([email protected]) or Ksenija Ivanović ([email protected]).
Thank you and kind regards,
