Letter of support
Estonian Police and Border Guard Board is pleased to extend support to the Child Assault Prevention (CAP) Estonia project, coordinated by the Women's Support and Information Center NGO. This initiative is submitted for funding under the Call for Proposals to prevent and
combat gender-based violence and violence against children - CERV-2024-DAPHNE.
The CAP Estonia project aims to implement a comprehensive strategy for the prevention of child abuse through education, empowerment, and community engagement. By modernizing and digitizing intervention training materials, enhancing capacity building among educators
and child protection professionals, and conducting thorough impact assessments, the project seeks to create a safer environment for children across Estonia.
The prevention and reduction of all forms of violence against children aligns with the core objectives of the Republic of Estonia and is a critical aspect of our national security strategy.
Estonian Police and Border Guard Board recognizes the significant value that the CAP Estonia project would bring in addressing these challenges effectively. We believe that the successful
implementation of this project could substantially contribute to our shared goals of safeguard ing children from abuse and creating a nurturing environment where they can thrive.
We support the Women's Support and Information Center NGO in these activities and look forward to the positive changes that the CAP Estonia project will bring for our communities.
Yours sincerely,
(digitally signed)
Kristi Hallas
