You will find below some questions and reminders:
· UK information on the e-Justice Portal. We refer to the question raised in the Annual Meeting. As you remember at the time of Brexit, it was decided in agreement with the UK that UK information on the e-Justice Portal remains until the end of 2022 for the purposes of smooth transition and pending procedures and proceedings. In 2022 this was upon the request of a number of contact points and with the agreement of UK extended until the end of 2024. We are now asking you to confirm whether the e-Justice Portal pages in relation to the UK are still consulted by the courts, central and competent authorities and legal professional in your country and whether you wish us to negotiate a further extension with the UK. We would be very grateful if you could provide us with an answer by 1 March 2024.
· Statistics on the operation of the Brussels IIb and Maintenance Regulations. A gentle reminder that you should send us those statistics, using the attached templates by 1 March 2024. Central Authorities are kindly asked to send the statistics for the full year of 2023 to [email protected] by 1 March 2024.
· Working groups. Many thanks to those of you who volunteered to participate to the new working groups on succession and court staff. We plan to organise online meetings of those WGs, in the coming months. Additional information and documents will follow in due course!
