Thank you very much for your hospitality and the enriching exchange that we had on April 5th

in Tallinn. It was a pleasure to meet you and 1 would like to thank you very much for your

welcoming the whole delegation. Estonia’s cfear focus and determination are remarkable. You

have started your journey about twenty years ago. For us, it was intriguing to see that you are

now redefining the relationship between the citizens and the government in what you call

“personal government”. Your visions and work are groundbreaking and a role model. We are

definitely eager to learn more from your experiences and successes.

Hamburg has just been rated as the most digital federal state in Germany by the Bitkom

association. Even though we may not be as advanced as Estonia, our efforts have been

recognized. 1 am sure that this is a strong foundation for cross border collaboration between

us.

Please let me know if your travels ever take you to Hamburg. 1 would be very interested in

meeting you again and continue our dialogue.
