Subject Meeting with French representatives (mayors and businesses representatives from the Parisian region) coming to Estonia for a study trip.

The Association of Mayors of lle-de-France (AMIF), which 1 have the honour of leading, is an association of local elected officials in France. The purpose of our association is to support the municipalities of the Parisian region. We inform the mayors about solutions, innovations, rules that they have to know in order to improve their daily management. Also, we work closely with businesses representatives, which are gathered in an association called AMIF Partenaires.

In this purpose, we organize different types of events: meetings between mayors, conferences, trade shows, and study trips. These study trips help us to compare our practices and acquire new ideas we went, for example, to Madrid, Montreal, Lisbon, New York, Berlin...

Our trip to Estonia has been postponed in 2022, and we are very happy to finally make it to happen this year. This trip is planned in 2024 from September, the 2gth to October, the 3rd We wiIl be a delegation of 70 elected officials and representatives of the largest French companies. We wilI stay in Tallinn and we may also go to Tartu.

During this trip, we would be delighted to discover Estonian innovations, particularly digital ones. Moreover, it would be an honour to meet you and your Government Chief Information Officer.

Marion Vergeylen, General Director of the AMIF, and Alexandra Jardin, Head of Partnerships ([email protected] / 06 1477 15 24), will travel to Tallinn and Tartu on April the 14th to 18th in order to prepare this study trip. They would like to meet some of your collaborators, so they could get some advice and contacts, and ifyou agree, prepare an official meeting.
