UNESCO” and together with the National Academies of Sciences as the “Parties”,

mindful of UNESCO Call to Action “Closing the Gender Gap in Science”,

hereby agree on the following:

1. Clause 3 of Annex 1 is amended to read as follows:

“1. In the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities, the “Women in Science Baltic Award“

will grant 2 Fellowships in the Baltic States. One Fellowship is given out in Lithuania and

1 in Latvia as follows:

− 1 Fellowship of 7,000 euros will be granted in Lithuania to a Doctor of Sciences

− 1 Fellowship of 7,000 euros will be granted in Latvia to a Doctor of Sciences.”

2. This Appendix shall enter into force upon signing.
