The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) presents his compliments
... to Member States and Associate Members and has the honour to attach the draft provisional agenda for the 156th session of the Executive Board to be held from 3 to 11 February 2025.
Any proposal from a Member State or Associate Member to include an item on the agenda should reach the Director-General not later than 12 weeks after circulation of the draft provisional agenda or 10 weeks before the commencement of the session of the Executive Board whichever is earlier. Proposals should therefore reach the Director-General by 10 September 2024.
The Director-General draws to the attention of Member States and Associate Members that, in accordance with Rule 9 of the Rules of Procedure of the Executive Board, any proposal for inclusion on the agenda of any item shall be accompanied by an explanatory memorandum.
Following receipt of proposals, the Director-General will draw up the provisional agenda in consultation with Officers of the Executive Board. The provisional agenda will be annotated and will explain any recommendations made regarding the deferral or exclusion of proposals. It will be dispatched to Member States with the letter of convocation no later than eight weeks before commencement of the 156th session of the Executive Board.
The Director-General takes this opportunity to renew to Member States and Associate Members the assurance of his highest consideration.
