Hello
Yes, we have 2 medical schools: Tallinn Health Care College (teaches nurses, midwives and assistant pharmacists) and Tartu Health Care College (teaches nurses and midwives).
Doctors study at the University of Tartu – study time 6 years.
Dentists study at the University of Tartu – study time 5 years.
Pharmacists study at the University of Tartu – study time 5 years.
Our graduates get registered right after graduation. They have up to 5 years to get automatically registered; if they miss this period and also do not have a registration and work experience in another European Economy Area member state or Switzerland then they will have to take a theory and practice exam to get registered.
