Dear Excellency
INVITATION TO THE 9th SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL CYBER WEEK, 14
TO 17 OCTOBER 2024
It is my pleasure to invite you to the 9th Singapore International Cyber
Week (SICW), taking place from 14 to 17 October 2024.
The theme of this year’s SICW is “Trust and Security in the Digital
Era”. This year’s theme recognises the vital need to foster trust and
cooperation in digital and cyber security issues between States on one hand,
and between governments and industry on the other, in an increasingly
fragmented global digital and cyber landscape – one that is challenged by
several ongoing conflicts, geopolitical and economic contestation, supply
chain vulnerabilities and increased pressure on democratic process in what
is now being termed as a ‘global election year’. The 2024 SICW will seek to
advance discussion on these issues through key events including the SICW
Summit, the SICW High Level Plenaries, and a series of SICW Panels
focusing on diverse cybersecurity policy, operational, technical and
diplomacy topics.
I have no doubt that your participation and perspectives will greatly
enrich our discussions. My colleagues will be glad to work with your office to
curate your participation and ensuring a fruitful visit to Singapore.
Please RSVP to Ms Farhanah Hussin Bagharib, Ms Leong Kai Jing, and
Ms Humairah Abduh at [email protected] by 31 July 2024. You may
also contact Ms Bagharib, Ms Leong, and Ms Abduh at the same email
address with any queries. Detailed administrative and programme
information will be sent to delegates in due course.
I look forward to meeting you in October.
Yours sincerely,
MRS JOSEPHINE TEO
MINISTER FOR COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION
