Your Excellency,
It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 19th edition of the GLOBSEC Forum that will
take place from 30th August to 1st September 2024 in Prague.
This year’s edition coincides with 20 and 25 anniversaries of CEE countries’ membership
in the NATO and the EU. As Ukraine continues its fight against the Russian aggressor,
the level of geopolitical instability is on the rise globally. Unprecedented bloodshed led
to escalating conflicts in the Middle East, further eroding security in the region. The
forthcoming elections on both sides of the Atlantic and increasing dominance of
geoeconomics and technology in the international relations are adding to the complexity
of today’s geopolitical landscape. In a view of new legislation period in EU, discussion
on the future of the EU digital agenda is needed.
GLOBSEC Forum 2024 is surely the right place where we can discuss how to respond
to current challenges, and overcome global fragility and how to work together towards
the future of EU digital agenda.
I sincerely hope that your busy schedule will allow you to accept my invitation as your
presence would undoubtedly enrich those debates.
