The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) presents his compliments

... to Member States and Associate Members and has the honour to attach the draft provisional agenda for the 156th session of the Executive Board to be held from 3 to 11 February 2025.

Any proposal from a Member State or Associate Member to include an item on the agenda should reach the Director-General not later than 12 weeks after circulation of the draft provisional agenda or 10 weeks before the commencement of the session of the Executive Board whichever is earlier. Proposals should therefore reach the Director-General by 24 September 2024.

The Director-General draws to the attention of Member States and Associate Members that, in accordance with Rule 9 of the Rules of Procedure of the Executive Board, any proposal for inclusion on the agenda of any item shall be accompanied by an explanatory memorandum.

Following receipt of proposals, the Director-General will draw up the provisional agenda in consultation with Officers of the Executive Board. The provisional agenda will be annotated and will explain any recommendations made regarding the deferral or exclusion of proposals. It will be dispatched to Member States with the letter of convocation no later than eight weeks before commencement of the 156th session of the Executive Board.

La date butoir pour proposer l’inscription d’un point à l’ordre du jour de la cent cinquante-sixième session du Conseil exécutif, qui avait initialement été fixée au 10 septembre 2024, est désormais fixée au 24 septembre 2024 (12 semaines après la distribution du projet d’ordre du jour provisoire), comme indiqué dans le corrigendum 1 ci-joint.

… ci-joint le projet d’ordre du jour provisoire de la cent cinquante-sixième session du Conseil exécutif, qui se tiendra du 3 au 11 février 2025.

Toute proposition d’un État Membre ou d’un Membre associé tendant à inscrire un point à l’ordre du jour doit parvenir au Directeur général 12 semaines au plus tard après la diffusion du projet d’ordre du jour provisoire ou 10 semaines au moins avant l’ouverture de la session du Conseil, la première des deux dates correspondantes étant retenue. Les propositions devront donc parvenir au Directeur général au plus tard le 24 septembre 2024.

Le Directeur général appelle l’attention des États Membres et des Membres associés sur le fait que, conformément à l’article 9 du Règlement intérieur du Conseil exécutif, toute proposition tendant à inscrire un point à l’ordre du jour sera accompagnée d’un mémorandum explicatif.

Dès réception des propositions, le Directeur général établira l’ordre du jour provisoire après consultation des membres du Bureau du Conseil. L’ordre du jour provisoire sera annoté et l’on expliquera le cas échéant les recommandations en faveur du renvoi ou de l’exclusion de certaines des propositions. Cet ordre du jour provisoire annoté sera envoyé aux États Membres avec la lettre de convocation au plus tard huit semaines avant l’ouverture de la cent cinquante-sixième session du Conseil exécutif.
