Your Excellency,
We are delighted to extend a personal invitation for you to join us at the private Ministerial Roundtable of the World Energy Congress on the morning of Wednesday 24 April 2024, co-hosted by the World Energy Council and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy of the Government of the Netherlands. This invitation-only important gathering takes place as part of the 26th Worid Energy Congress in Rotterdam, convening more than 7,000 international energy stakeholders, governments, businesses and communities under the theme of Redesigning Energy for People and Pianet.
The World Energy Council has welcomed more than 70 Ministers to its Ministerial Roundtable at each Congress, alongside heads of IGOs, Development Banks and a select group of CEOs from around the world who are ali committed to clean and inclusive energy transitions.
The ways in which we produce, transport and use energy 15 changing and must continue to evolve as we decarbonise our energy systems, develop new value chains to enhance security, and put people at the heart of energy transitions.
In this off-the-record and interactive ministerial meeting we invite you to bring your perspective and to share your experience and ambitions for energy transition. With the support of world class facilitators and use of the Worid EnergyTrilemma tool, we look forward to making sense of the collaborative actions and identifying solutions to help meet ambitions.
The World Energy Congress is the world’s longest established energy event, having shaped the global energy agenda for a century. In today’s unpredictable, turbulent and fast-shifting world, the Congress in Rotterdam will be the most important energy convening of the next decade. As we take forward our commitments made at C0P28 into reality, we need to make sure we show up, step up and scale together.
