Please accept my congratulations for your appointment to assume the post as Commander of the Estonian Defence Forces.
Our two countries have enjoyed excellent and fruitful relations over years. Let me underline my appreciation for the close relationship in the spirit of common security interests. I stand ready to deepen our already strong cooperation in the future.
Your nation has always been in a frontline position. Nevertheless, the Russian aggression against Ukraine was a turning point for all of us.
