July 16, 2024 Mr. Ahti Kuningas Secretary General Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications Suur-Ameerika 1 10122 Tallinn, Estonia Email: [email protected] Dear Mr. Kuningas: Thank you for taking the time to meet with me during my recent visit to Estonia. It was my pleasure to speak with you to enhance relations between our governments to share experiences and best practices in e-government services. Estonia is one of the most advanced e-societies in the world. I was grateful for the opportunity to ask so many questions to learn the essential elements the Estonian government put in place that enabled you to become a leading digital society. As Nova Scotia transitions the way we deliver services to our citizens and develop a provincial workforce to support this implementation, we were excited to hear Estonia’s story and future plans as a global leader in digital government. I look forward to continuing to work together to further develop the relationship between Nova Scotia and Estonia. Sincerely, Honourable Colton LeBlanc Minister of Cyber Security and Digital Solutions
